Not a better way to start my 8 day driving tour of Tasmania. Thank you all for your generous nature and friendly smile. Very clean room and the hotel is so close to the Salamanca Markets also. Inexpensive and the on-site parking is super convenient. HERTZ vehicle rental is just 200 metres down the street. Thank you to all the staff for a great start to my holiday.

The quilt cover isn’t a cover, it’s just two sheets which was awkward to try and remake everyday. The fan in the bathroom also didn’t work. The balcony door was also locked so we couldn’t go outside.

Very convenient location, large room and great bathroom and kitchen facilities.

The bathroom was super small. If you are a big person this could be an inconvenience , as you wouldn't be able to pass through the shower sliding doors . This should be advised from the reservation.

Side table wasn't wiped well. Likely just an oversight as otherwise the room was very clean.

Wouldn't say I didn't like it, but it would have been a bit more convenient if it had a longer table against a wall or wardrobe space to put baggage and clothing on/in. But it was fine for a single traveller with just a backpack, so if I was carrying anything more than that, I would just have to put up with rummaging through any other bags instead of nice and neat and out of sight if I had some space to put baggage in. Wasn't a problem though; more of a preference from my end.

Location to town was great. Was quiet and had a lovely view of the city from the room I stayed in. Facilities were great for a single person, with a small fridge to keep beverages cool in and a small table to set up a laptop with comfortable chairs. Beg was large and clean. Made for a great stop to reside in during a visit to Tasmania.

Great location, right in the heart of the city and a very quick walk to Salamanca Square and the waterfront. Whilst the amenities were quite basic, the room was kept comfy/clean and remained nice and warm.

The bedside lamp wasn’t working at first (not a major issue, though the room felt a little dark), and when I checked the outlet, my hand got a bit dusty. I understand it’s not easy to keep every corner perfectly clean, but it could have been a little fresher. This was my second stay here, and I’ve met a few different receptionists. Some were very welcoming and friendly, while others a bit less so. While it doesn’t affect the room itself, it does make me consider trying a different place next time.

Shower temperature hard to adjust. Needed instructions for the heater.

I was surprised at the quality of the room for such a low price. The decor was pleasant. The bed and armchair were very comfortable. I could not get the heater working.but even without it, the room was not too cold. Overall, excellent value and I will be back. I was staying while a family member was in hospital and found that very convenient. While.i selected a.small room. I have stayed in more expensive places.that were smaller - it was fine.and not cramped.

The refrigerator occasionally made some strange scratchy noises which we occasionally heard during the night.

We had previously stayed and had trouble sleeping due to traffic noise, thought we would give it another try due to an excellent deal. This time we had a smaller room on the side (not the corner room) was much better for noise. Got a good nights sleep... the beds and pillows are very comfortable.

Some plumbing issues in one of the bathrooms. Exhaust fan not excellent and ventilation not great.

Very clean, modern and comfortable bed. Family option great value for money for the size. Great location also.
