Noone at reception to meet and greet us. On booking.com it advertised a spa, but this has closed and is no longer a feature of the property. We feel this should be removed from the advert. The pool was also closed, and that wasn't obvious when booking either.

The apartment was really well appointed and had every possible kitchen gadget you could wish for.

Our room was right next to the cleaners cupboard which meant a lot of people and noise every morning right outside our room. Our car was blocked in by a cleaning truck and we were told we would have to wait 15min until I asked them to ask the driver if he could move for us, which he kindly did. Another time we parked in one of our allocated bays and got asked to move by the cleaning staff because our car (in its marked bay) was in their way. These are fairly minor things but if we did ever stay here again we would be requesting a different room to this one.

The property location in Margaret River & the layout of apartment. Despite being a wee bit tired decor wise, it was very cozy, clean & practical.

Some people were very noisy and were not adhereingbto the 10pm noise code but other than that it was good

We didn't to get to use as much as we would like because it rained most of the time but I can imagine it is really good in the summer. We were close to town 800m walk or 1 min in the car abd we were also close to The River which was s great pub

The skip bin area at the back should maybe be blocked off to the general public. Ran into a few interesting people there either dumping their rubbish or raiding the 10 cent recycling bin.

Location was excellent, an easy walk into town and right next to the River Hotel. Had an issue with no internet in the room when we got there and they moved us no problem which was a big ask considering the surf pro was on and the all apartments were booked.

Some houses back on to the pub. When there is a band playing the bass and noise are very hard to block out. Be prepared to have the kids awake a bit later than usual.

The apartment was very dark

The beds and sheets are excellent quality and comfy The apartment is well equipped it had all that you need fur you stay and more and a nice size. Settee was comfortable and a nice touch with blankets Coffee tea and sugar was on the side milk in the fridge Take your own coffee pods and salt and pepper

When we arrived both of the allocated car bays for our apartment were sectioned off and taken up by a crane. I called through to the reception who couldn’t have cared less, made no effort to have the crane moved and instead said the only place we could park was at the other end of the complex (less than ideal with 2 kids under 2). Also have a sign in the kitchen saying if you don’t wash the dishes you’ll be fined $50 but don’t provide dish washing liquid? Tried to call reception multiple times at 10am on a Saturday to get some dishwashing liquid - no answer, luckily the ANF housekeeper lent me some sachets. Also there’s a lot of noise from the neighbouring pub - the website only mentions this about river hotel rooms not the apartments so perhaps avoid over weekends as the pub had live music all weekend
