Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No bin downstairs, heater wasn't working in one bedroom, only thin doonas, no blankets, not soundproof at all.
Great location, spacious, has washing machine and clothesline. Go to Pot Alley or Meanarra Hill for sunset! Little Leaf, Finlay's and Red Bluff Bakery all had great food. Also watch the pelican feeding - very informative.

There was overlooking from property behind but just kept dining room curtains closed, which was ok. The window with the view is not overlooked.
Excellent location. Close to shops and hotels, cafes. Beautiful view from lounge, overlooking river and ocean. Comfy bed. Great kitchen. Bathroom and laundry combined nicely. Great shower. Great value for money.

Locating the property. We wasted an hour trying to find it because it has a different name on the board on the road. The name given to us was incorrect - Sunset Villas, which we were given, is totally different to Seaview Villas. Also, it is called Seaview Villas and we were promised a sea view. It is true that you can see the sea from the upstairs balcony, but in between is a block of apartments taking up all but the remote view.

Great location, very central but still nice and quiet. The 2 story villa was really good, very spacious and perfect view from the balcony.

Would have been nice to have a towel rail outside the shower cubicle.
Excellent location with a lovely seaview from upstairs. Comfortable apartment with 2 bedrooms downstairs and kitchen, dining room and lounge upstairs. Close to shops and restaurants.

Backyard had recently been moved but grass not collected. Had to sweep pavers but some grass clippings got into unit. Some renovation needs finishing off.
Great location with very nice sea views over the units in front. Fully functional kitchen. Unit has been modernised with some hangovers from the past. Solid value for money.

We didn’t have one spare roll of toilet paper. At the time most inconvenient!

Only a small thing but I found the bed wasn't the greatest and felt a bit soft. Having said that the other 2 people that stayed there said the bed was great! so just a preference.
Great location and facilities were very good. Very clean as well which was the most important thing. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Only 1 toilet roll for 4 night stay. No milk. No wifi. Bannister on stairs very sticky so could be cleaner. No bin in bathroom. No curtain on kitchen window. No covering nxt to front door. Window at the base. Some old lady was peering through the window looking for cans when she saw our rubbish bag inside propped against window. Husband was on way to shower and had a fright. Liked the place but little things make it better.
Fantastic location and great views. Good kitchen with huge fridge. TV has heaps of channels. Bed comfortable. Washing machine with line out back in little back yard. Nice shower although door bit falling apart. Good price.

Brilliant location and it had everything that we needed. It is great to have to queen size beds when you are travelling with two couples. Would definitely stay again.

A comfortable couch would be my only suggestion. But that’s being picky.

We found the mattress too soft and uncomfortable, and we could not get a good night's sleep. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Amy sent a welcoming text explaining the location of the premises, which really helped, as it did not come up on Google Maps. The text also provided the access code for the lock box.

Probably the tiled floors throughout, some floor rugs would have been nice, otherwise no complaints.
