Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

On booking.com it states(and we have screenshots) that the security deposit was$500. They withdrew $1000. from our account instead without permission. Communication is very limited and the staff is very argumentative.
The apartment was excellent. It was clean and very spacious with a great location. Beds were very comfortable too.

There are many processes and rules to follow - which can be confusing.. The lockbox is not the easiest to use and was a little frustrating.. A small amount of laundry powder would have been really helpful and appreciated.
The apartment is great and really spacious - it’s a dream! But would have like to use the built in coffee machine as the pod machine is really not an equal alternative. The cafe downstairs is really good!! Worth a visit. Apartment is fantastic for a family or couples as you are not right next to each other and have privacy.

quite complicated to get inside especially if you are not from Australia , also it can be complicated for older people because you have to make a self check in just using mobile phone..cleaning could have been better just because we found someone else hair in an empty kitchen drawer and one in the main bathroom

1. The restriction of guests. We still had family members visit on one occasion for a couple of hours at a reasonable hour due to extenuating circumstances. 2. A long length mirror 3. Lighting on sides of at least one mirror for makeup application; and/or even better 3. A mirror with natural lighting to apply makeup (maybe a nice mirror above credenza in dining area) 4. Blockout curtains

check-in could have been slightly simpler. The emails were all too long, so I gave up and of which made it harder for me to get instructions on how to enter, but not a big deal.
the size of the apartment was HUGE. while there was three of us staying there, we never felt confined.

Having to take the garage door key back to the lockbox upon departure.. Partner had to do blockies to pick me up!

Getting into Fort Knox, most ridiculous set up regarding key safe box and codes. Not letting the customers knowing about taking a bond at the last minute.. Would never stay at an apartment like this again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Nobody answered the phones when needed..

The pricing model was confusing. Charging the room fee plus the cleaning fee. Include the cleaning fee in the price cause you have to pay it anyways. Only having the option of paying by credit card meant I could not avoid fees. I booked 6 weeks before stay and it was non refundable. Took the payment from my credit card the week I booked and did not advise me they were going to. Very inconsiderate. Then when taking my bond and cleaning fee, again did not ask or advise when it was to be done. The rules that were in place made the stay not as relaxing i would of liked, I felt on edge the whole time.
Nice and roomy. The bath was lovely. The facilities we as expected. Great bed, TV was confusing but the wi fi worked well. Loved being able to check out at 11am which I had to ask for. Private carpark was a bonus. Penthouse was great.
