Peter is in the process of renovating this building and from the street view, the property is a little messy. He is certainly renovating with love. Our apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Prints, bric-a-brac, be careful because those plants are real…. Two reverse cycle air-conditioners for warmth. A well-stocked kitchen except for an empty tea tin.😕 Never mind, the coffee pods were excellent. Quiet and in a great location. The only things we didn’t like… The bathroom was a little small and at the back of the apartment. A long way to walk in the middle of a cold night for a tinkle. The toilet was also in an awkward position. Turning right out of Dawson Street into Fullamore Rd is difficult. Our advice is to go to the other end of Dawson Street, turn right and then turn right at the next street. You are further away from the traffic lights and the traffic doesn’t bank up as much. Parking is on the street yet there are plenty of parks available. Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay and would return. This property is very close to the Haigh’s chocolate factory. 👍🏼 The Woolworths down the road closes at 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. My husband only made it because he ran. We did expect it to close later.

The property was clean and had the basic amenities that we needed. Loved the nespresso machine! It was also in a convenient location with shops and restaurants nearby. Check in was a breeze and Peter was responsive and attentive to our requests.

Not a single thing!

Everything was absolutely lovely at Hollidge House, we stayed for two nights of our road trip. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to relax, everything is so well presented and best of all for us coffee addicts is a Nespresso machine! The bed was super comfy as was the sofa, we had everything we needed and loved our stay. Also had a nice chat with the owner who was super nice and friendly, a gorgeous property!

We were in Adelaide for a wedding. Peter was very friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect and we felt like we were staying with a friend. Not far from the CBD or the Adelaide Hills, but a very quiet location with good restaurants nearby.

A lovely base to come back to each day. Very comfortable bed. All the facilities you need for a stay cation. Easy access to shops and eating places on foot. The owner is very friendly and keeps the grounds beautiful. He is very approachable and helpful.

Very comfortable stay a little outside the centre, which was great. Beautiful cottage and the best bed we’ve slept in. Nice furniture, and a very quiet place. Peter was very friendly. It is a short walk to the shops, buses to the city stop nearby.

it is a true first world problem, and not really related to the property, but: public transport (bus) to/from the apartment needs a little bit of effort on planning, navigating and being there ~5minutes before the scheduled departure (busses drive past if nobody‘s at the stop). However, after a day, this is sorted.

cute apartment on a quiet side-street in Adelaide‘s Fullarton neighbourhood everything that one might need during a stay (washing powder, iron, kitchen utensils etc.) available great host who was never more than a text-message away, and gave great recommendations about food shopping / restaurants and things to do in the area

The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. Great location with fantastic shops nearby. We had a lovely relaxing break and enjoyed the warm hospitality. We definitely recommend Hollidge House, and the gorgeous apartments.

The air conditioning unit didn’t work- it’s the same as the system we have at home so we knew how to operate it but it just didn’t work. We had a 40 degree day and a 34 degree day and needed air conditioning.
