Loved the view to the sea, and enjoyed a great sunrise. We were high enought to have beautiful filtered sea view. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Good for a few nights.

Our room was top floor which was amazing, but it seemed to be right next to or under the massive air conditioning units for the whole hotel, so it was very noisy all night.

Beautiful view, great sized room, easy parking. Friendly staff with food available later than a lot of other hotels so great for a later arrival from travelling.

Super comfy, clean rooms. In a great position on the Esplanade. Lovely beer garden. Welcoming staff. Great value for money. Will definitely stay again next time in Cairns.

Over bath shower was very pokey and probably not suitable for more elderly visitors.

In general, everything was great. The hotel facilities look a bit outdated - I believe they have been around for a good while, but still charming and super clean.

The staff were brilliant and so supportive! Mikki, Richard, Riccardo, Bell and others made our stay smooth and nice. The hotel had all the facilities as described.

The airport is quite close and the early departures are very loud, especially if you are on the top floor. Take a lower floor if you want to sleep in, but the views up top are worth it!

The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, even though their computers were all down on check in, they made sure we were comfortable and happy. They organised a 4:00 am taxi for us to the airport and they have 24 hour staffing to make sure we got away in time for our flight. The room was spacious and clean and had amazing views over the seaside. The restaurant was great and the staff there super helpful. Highly recommend the Harbourside. :)

It needs an update. It says it’s a 4-5 star and it felt like a 3 star and needs an update.

It was pretty central to the town. Easy to get places. Great breakfast and pool.

Not a criticism but just our observation - Whilst room was spacious, comfortable and clean, we felt that the bathrooms were in need of some updating. It was obviously a busy time and thought they were a bit overstretched at breakfast service and would have benefited from additional staff to replenish.

My room had background noise from the air-con system...but I got used to it over my 6 night stay.

Top floor room, which had a stunning view. The staff at reception were all lovely and helpful. Richard (Duty Manager) is the guy to book your trips with, he even rang one company directly when I was trying to do a very late booking.

Their internet was down the whole time I was there, informed the staff and apparently it was getting fixed but didn't happen till the day we were leaving. Hot water went off for a few hours, and taking a cold shower was not on my list to do. The pillows were not comfortable, but that could be my personal choice. Bedside lamps were not working, the remote channel button was broken as i could only go down and not up the channels.

Location was great, staff was amazing, views are fantastic.

The room was dated and overlooked by other rooms, but comfortable for 1 night stay. The bar food was very nice, and cocktails were yummy. Overall, a good stay, friendly staff, and pleasant nights sleep.

The location was good, close to the airport and esplanade.
