The fact that the property sounded in the marketing like it had views of the water (Wharf/Edge 17) but actually faced a road. It was beautiful and lovely however we were seeking water views as part of our trip.

The bathroom was pretty small, but still functional.

Comfortable cottage in a great central location. Really liked the sunny sheltered courtyard as a place to sit in the sun and read. The laundry was also handy as we'd been on the road for a while. Good selection of books on the local area.

No water view

This property was absolutely beautiful, so full of character and charm, the owners have gone above and beyond to make their guests stay a memorable and comfortable one, a bed that feels like a cloud, a warming towel rail, a make up washcloth in your ensuite, bowl of chocolates on the table, fresh milk in the fridge for your coffee not UHT and the coffee machine already full of coffee beans ready to go. The small court yard was so pretty and beautifully maintained. We had a lovely stay and highly recommended.

there is nothing to not like about this place.

We were met at the door by the owner on a chilly October afternoon. inside there was a warm welcoming fire in the hearth. There was a lovely welcome pack of fresh fruit, fresh bread, milk and butter and other goodies in the kitchen. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with modern appliances and everything you could possibly need including a real espresso machine. The living room was very comfortable and stocked with interesting books and a smart TV. outside there is a gorgeous patio area with comfortable seating and a dining area. if we had known beforehand how lovely this property is, and how beautiful Port Fairy is we would have spent less time in Melbourne and more time here

Excellent location in the historic wharf precinct, with an easy walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, etc., or perhaps a little further, Griffiths Is., & the lighthouse. The property (a beautifully renovated cottage) was well presented & spotlessly clean. All appliances & amenities were well maintained & in good working order. Beds were very comfortable. We liked the all little touches which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Quiet location right on the edge of the wharf area

It would be hard to suggest improvements.

Edge17 on the wharf is a beautifully decorated accommodation for two people. The location alongside the boats and with the serenity of the Moyne River in the foreground is a bonus as is the lovely cottage garden at the rear. Extra touches of having the heating on prior to arrival on a cold winter's day was appreciated. Timtams in the fridge were a treat, full coffee and tea supplies were good,

Stunning location best in Port Fairy. The hosts Berni and Brett had all excellent local knowledge to suggest the best places to eat and visit. We have been visiting Port Fairy staying at different locations and this is head and shoulders above the rest. Weather was perfect for visiting local attractions.

The only downside was the cleaning surcharge. I acknowledge that the surcharge was mentioned in the property details when I booked but would suggest that all cleaning costs be included in the initial booking quote. Perhaps the quoted price should be based on the number of rooms required - not the number of people.

I really can’t think of anything.

Perfect little cottage. So cozy, comfortable and well appointed. I just wanted to hang out there. Plus a nice front porch and large back porch. Fun and interesting furnishings. The Jura coffee maker was over the top nice! And all the items needed for coffee, beverages, water and treats.
