More of a al La carte menu at the restaurant so you have more of a choice however we found a yummy Indian in town so wasn’t a probably.

The cute fireplace in each wood cabin. Proximity to town despite it feeling as if you were miles away. The continental breakfast provided each morning.

The food wasn't as great as we were expecting. The venison pie was very dry.

Cabin was great, as were the facilities at the property.

There’s not a lot to not like! A king sized bed would have made our stay a 10/10.

The remoteness and rustic vibe. The cabins were far enough away from each other to provide privacy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The beer was great! Only a 5-10 minute drive into town. We’d definitely revisit!

The cabin we had needs a little tidy up. Cracked handbasin. (Still useable). More fire lighters and kindling. Complimentary milk was already opened and used. We bought our own. Parking near the cabin was awkward especially when raining. The Continental breakfast included was fabulous 👌 all you needed. Home cooked bread was lovely. Restaurant meal 2 courses for $52 was very nice. Husband enjoyed the paddle of different beers. A port by the fireplace after dinner was nice. Bed was comfortable and warm. WiFi was no good. A smart tv would of been better where you could cast your own programmes. Only ABC and 1 SBS tv channels available. Built in DVD player if you have them. A real "rustic" getaway.

The cosy cabins with fire places.

The room was wide open when we arrived ie door open. This meant room was very cold. There was no firewood in the room when we arrived. Luckily we found some outside in the dark. The toilet seat was broken and was literally hanging off the side of the toilet when we arrived. Fortunately we could move it back into position.

    Dinner was excellent

The unit is not a cabin, but part of a row of units, and it was dark and dingy with only minimal lighting throughout. There were spiderwebs on the curtains and the lounge wasn't all that comfortable. Breakfast, which was included, was basic continental. There is no housekeeping for under three nights. Towels weren't an issue, but we could have done with more milk and tea bags, etc. for a two-night stay. Our firewood and kindling was replenished but not the firelighters, so we didn't bother lighting the wood fire the second night.

Convenient for breakfast and dinner, spacious bedroom, light and bright bathroom, reverse cycle aircon, wood fire, microwave, toaster, jug, parking close by, short drive to most attractions

Its tired, needs some general maintenance. Grounds have the opportunity to be exceptional, even in winter. Sofa in cabin is not very comfortable.

The feeling of remoteness, peaceful and wood burner fire place. Beds were comfortable. Excellent shower pressure. Easy to find and not far from town.

A bit confused that the sign saying "Turn off electric blanket when leaving" didn't match the beds: no electric blankets were on either bed. A bit of maintenance needed with one of the towel racks, but otherwise a lovely place to stay. Some staff at breakfast on the final day were less warm and helpful than the rest of the crew throughout our stay.

Location is fantastic. Great feed at the restaurant for dinner, and lovely breakfast included each morning. Fireplace works a treat in the cabin; much appreciated to have the firewood supply replenished each day of our stay. Staff at dinner were very accommodating, friendly and helpful.

The cabins were a little dated. Would have loved if the breakfast had a bit more variety, was very basic compared to other continental breakfasts we have had.

The cabins were so cute and relaxing. Loved the fireplace. The staff have my children some duck feed to feed the ducks that live behind the back deck, was the highlight.

The breakfast that was included was very basic - toast, cereal and juice, or tea/coffee. An option to have more variety for breakfast would be better. The dinner options also felt like they were trying too hard - very tasty, but the only option was to have a 2 or 3 course meal. An option to order a platter, or even just a pizza or burger after a long day of wineries, would be nice at the restaurant. The rooms definitely require updating, too.

We loved the idea of the timber cabins and wood fire - although the accommodation was very dated, it was clean and tidy. We stayed with other friends and the cabins were perfectly located throughout the site - great for multiple groups. Location of the site was great.

Nothing everything was great during our stay.

The cabins were cosy and spacious, my family (2A, 2C) had plenty of room. The facilities are brilliant my daughter enjoyed picking out DVDs for us to watch each night from reception and feeding the duck. Firewood was regularly stocked each day at our cabin. Very pleased with our stay and would return again. The cabin location is fantastic just outside the main town but close enough for everything to see and do.

    - Shower kept running cold intermittently - Only one switch controls both lights in the main cabin, it was too bright with both on but too dim with just the bedside table lights on - Air con was very loud whilst in use - Bed was hard and felt uncomfortable, but I realise this is personal preference

    - Rustic and cosy - Very clean - Space to park my car outside the cabin - Shampoo, conditioner and bodywash had a lovely fragrance - Staff very friendly and welcoming, explained everything clearly - Handbook inside the cabin tells you everything you need to know

Lighting in cabin not great for ageing eyes! Would have liked an earlier breakfast or pre-prepared option in our cabin - 8.15am start is quite late if travellers want to get on the road.

Lovely location, friendly staff, comfy rooms with efficient wood stove, good breakfast.

The cabins were wonderful the only downside was their showers. The showerheads definitely need replacing, you expect there to be pumped water but with poor water pressure a good shower head would assist otherwise everything else was great.

Fantastic location, wonderful little cabins with everything for a short stay away. The brewery was wondeerful as always, the food was fantastic as was their staff.
