How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No Aircon then hot water was not working,ran the shower for 10mins still it didn’t get hot,soo frustrating & I delayed my Uber because of that. Curtains also a bit small light was coming through

Window in Room 301 is broken. Had to prop it open with the garbage bin otherwise there would be no air into the room from outside.
Staff, venue, location were all good.

The person in the nearby room who had to go in and out late at night and kept letting the door bang about 10 times - a totally inconsiderate person

They take your credit card and passport to a neighbor room and want a safety deposit which will be released on checkout. But on checkout time there is no one there, so you just throw your key in a box and hope all is right. The facilities look like they are from the 70's.
Staff is friendly. Could sleep well. Each room, while being without facilities, has its own washbasin and you have a fridge. No one was noisy.

The inconsiderate people staying there
The facility was fine for money paid, staff were very helpful and friendly. Room clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we had people arrive at the hotel at midnight slamming doors, fighting in the hallways and also left the bathroom that we had to use in a poor dirty condition. Finally after an hour of doors slamming and loau yelling we got to sleep only to be woken again at 0600 by the same inconsiderate people.

The room 301 was comfy yet the smell from the room being painted was really strong and potent got a headache. The room needs to be aired thoroughly after is has been painted continually in nail smell has gone. Needs to have window fixed so window will stay open and let room air. Great there was a fan though

Shower over bath was not ideal as problem for guests with mobility issues or those wanting more stability as bath surface was slippery and no grab bars. Suggest non-slip bath mat and/or grab bar. If possible try to book females near female bathroom as my room was next to the male bathroom and female was further away.
Comfortable bed, clean room, hot showers and great location before my international flight. Easy to get to with train and was able to get to airport with public bus with minimal cost. Lots of Indian restaurants nearby.

Lack of thorough cleaning in the female bathroom (I don't know about other bathrooms). The shower is over the bath and needs running for five minutes until hot water comes out. Dusty window frame in the guest room.
The friendly staff gave me free drinks from the pub on the ground floor. They appreciated my request to clean a mess in the female bathroom. The guest room was clean and comfortable. They changed towels and emptied the rubbish bin everyday. The air con and big fan on the ceiling worked well.

Bed was a little hard, but it was a bed and different people like different hardness in their beds! ;)
Was a fantastic location and you couldn't really hear the outside noise too well, could still hear it, but not as loud to disrupted your sleep! Staff were very polite , bus and train basically outside the front door as were a large variety of places to shop and eat!
