Shower was a bit dated with moldy silicone and there was no staff on arrival just a number to call.

The bed was comfortable, the massage chair and the spa were great, cottage was warm and the fairy lights on the deck were lovely.

Chalet 7 needs a vacuum under the bed.

The atmosphere and location of the chalet was great. Being beside the pond enables you to view all the bird life.

Large spacious chalet with all the amenities. The heater and hot shower (with excellent pressure) were much appreciated in the cold winter! Lovely little sitting area and kitchenette. Was very happy with the chalet. We had chalet 9 which, although attached to the main building, had the best outlook over the back - kangaroos at dusk and morning in your yard, ducks from the pond, even Emus! It was lovely to just sit on the back verandah and watch them all. A couple of mins drive into town for food etc.

Cabin size is overkill for just 2 people ie quite expensive for a lot of unused space. Also, a little far to walk to and from town on the footpath or roadside that lacks any lighting for after dark… HOWEVER, also means the property is quiet and peaceful because it’s not in town! 👍

Quiet, peaceful, no children, spacious cabins with kitchen, spa, massage chair, outdoor seating on deck, some wildlife (bird life and kangaroos), picnic tables in common space, laundry facilities.

It was a short drive to the local dining and facilities. The sites such as waterfalls and national parks were also close by. The open plan chalet was very comfortable, with a great shower. It was amazing to see kangaroos within a few metres outside our window when we woke up in the morning!

    Nothing

We recently spent two nights at the Grampians Chalet and absolutely loved our stay. The chalet offers a perfect mix of comfort, character, and location. Nestled right in the heart of Halls Gap, it’s just a short stroll to local cafes, shops, and walking trails. The chalet itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The rustic charm and beautiful timber features made it feel warm and inviting. We especially appreciated the private deck – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee while watching kangaroos grazing. It was a peaceful and relaxing escape, and we left feeling recharged.

Ideal place to explore the Grampian Mountains. Waking up in the morning to see local wildlife - Kangaroos, birds - so close to the chalet was wonderful to see. Room was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of places to eat in Halls Gap although it may be best to book restaurants in advance.
