we didnt get to sit outside in the seating area as the weather was miserable but it would have been great in the warmer months. Only one chair to sit on in the room and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room for the morning. Not really a problem as we just went to the shared kitchen area.

The location was great. We had spent the day at the Australia zoo and this place was only 10 minutes away. Peaceful and scenic area. Large room. Comfortable bed. great having the train carriage kitchen/dining area and barbeque area. Very well equipped

    We loved everything.

Absolutely loved our stay. The open spaces were perfect for our 2 year old to explore and play safely and freely. The train carriage kitchen was a standout. Not just for its charm but for the history it held. It's fully equipped and made cooking so easy. The whole place is peaceful, has a real relaxed vibe, and we felt instantly at home. Highly recommended!

Albeit winter, all the salt grinders had considerable moisture content making them useless. Matches for insect repellent device on outside carriage table didn't work due to moisture & repellent spiral almost used up.

The Victorian train carriage was beautifully presented quite romantic especially with the good value $30 wine & cheese platter.

The room lighting could have provided more flexible places for reading.

An attractive blend of new and repurposed / recycled elements made our accommodation in this ecolodge a delight. It was very comfortable and well maintained. The communal kitchen for those self catering was well equipped in charming renovated railway carriages. The subtropical gardens surrounding the accommodation were lush, colourful and well maintained. Lots of great walks in the vicinity.

Trying to find the path to the entrance at night is a little hard to find. Perhaps some garden solar lights?

I loved that it's fully equipped. I was able to cook for my elderly mother who is unwell and lives in the area but I am from interstate. Bed is comfortable.
