The decor was beautifully done and everything was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and looked after us at all times. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and found it had a good menu and the service was accommodating and courteous.

The staff were all fabulous, friendly and helpful. My room was amazing, and a great place to work and relax and the restaurant serves wonderful meals. I didn’t need to go anywhere else to eat. An oasis!

Parking was a issue with no on site parking and street parking difficult to find during the day. The planes flying overhead was a bit off putting but we realize that cannot be helped.

The staff where very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional, with a very comfy bed and wonderful shower. Also it was so convenient for breakfast and dinner as the restaurant below was very good.

The staff were welcoming and very professional. The rooms are super clean and comfortable with everything you need. The bar downstairs is beautifully decorated and has a great selection of wines and cocktails. The pool area could do with a bit more attention, but the pool itself was clean and accessible. The restaurant attached to the property is a hidden gem, great food, staff and lovely ambience. Thank you so much to all the staff, we loved our stay and will be back. The location is perfect as well.

the heritage charm and restored furnishings were excellent. Bathroom and bedroom both very good. Cleanliness was superb! Staff were helpful and the cafe/restaurant downstairs was great - (as long as you avoid drinking overpriced wine.)

Hotel was lovely and away from the busy area of Cairns central, but still within walking distance. The pool area was relaxing and the room itself was clean and quaint (vintage vibes).

A little bit noisy from the dining below but was virtually closed by 9oclock at night. Pool a little overlooked.

The staff were very approachable and friendly. The room was large with a window seat with outlook to the sea. Loved the decor.Appeared freshly decorated throughout the hotel to a great standard. Shower cubicle was large. Loved the lollies - nice touch. Excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very good coffee.

It can be a bit noisy. The staff are not particularly careful to clean up quietly after the restaurant is closed and the clean up area was outside our room. The room we were in is not particularly sound proof. Also had four lovely pillows - but they were all the same thickness, so a variety would be good.

The hotel is a quaint little place. The staff are friendly and the furnishings are lovely. The restaurant is lovely and very yummy.

Booked for three people, but room was initially set up for two. This was quickly addressed though. Other than that zero complaints.

There was no soundproofing in the rooms. We could hear the restaurant opening every morning at 5:30 AM.

It was a beautiful property and it was great that it was small. The restaurant downstairs was excellent as well.

Car parking can be tricky, as parking is on the road in front of the hotel and sometimes there is not much space.

This place is wonderful – set in a repurposed historic house, which has been transformed into very attractive, stylish and comfortable accommodation, with a fantastic restaurant downstairs. The bed was wonderful and the bathroom was of a very high quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located about a 20 minute walk along the seafront from the marina and many other bars and restaurants – although the restaurant downstairs is so good that there is no need to go out. It serves a very good breakfast, and dinner too on most nights – and some imaginative cocktails!
