The house we stayed in had a few minor issues which didn't detract from our stay, but are worth noting. Firstly, its in desperate need of exterior painting, and particularly the window frames were in quite poor condition. A lock on the bathroom door had lost it's knob, making it difficult to lock. Bathroom sink tap which leaked and the shower has the drainhole which was instantly blocked by the shower curtain, letting water drain onto the floor. All were reported to the management on check out, so hopefully will be fixed quickly.

The house and surroundings were quite lovely, and the items provided in the house were of good quality and plentiful in quantity. Beds are comfortable, and plenty of blankets and heaters were provided on request as we visited in the middle of the winter and it was extremely cold (especially on the first afternoon/night when we were unfortunately without power for a period of time). A very peaceful and delightful area to stay in and the surroundings give a fascinating history of the village and its past occupants. All the buildings are quite beautiful to wander around and examine, and along with beautiful peacocks and peahens, kangaroos and rabbits are in abundance in the local area. Finally, the most important point to make - after the problem we had with a power outage, which resulted in us being without power from our arrival through to around 10pm the first night, I was extremely impressed when management contacted me the next day to offer us a full refund of our first night's stay. It made what had been a somewhat stressful beginning to our break seem less difficult to bear.

The mattress could have been softer . The guest in the room behind us was snoring and playing some sleep music which we could hear and made it difficult to get to sleep.

The accomodation was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was spacious and the shower nice and hot. I received two phone call follow ups to assist with queries which were resolved promptly.

My neighbours on the opposite side were sleeping directly behind me on the adjoining wall & they snored heavily all night so very little sleep .

Had everything needed . Kitchen was well equipped . Clean sheets & towels . Very clean room . Pool was clean . I had it all to myself twice during my stay . Didn’t use the pool area bbq but would have if i had steaks . Well set up .

Air con filters were clogged- cleaned myself. Crockery was poor. One bright coloured plastic plate and one white ceramic. Trip hazard. Broken board on entry ramp.

Suggest installing a flap of some sort to block the fireplace chimney when not in use

I could hear the occupied room next to us snoring all night. It didn't keep me awake so not bothered, the walls are very thin between rooms which is understandable given its a cottage.

The room was larger than expected and was neat and clean. Pleasant surroundings I wish I knew about this place for our wedding.

The cot is not suitable for keeping together. Some of the switches were not functioning. The door locks are not functioning properly especially toilets and bathroom

Renovated cottage with air conditioning and bedding, unlike many of the other cottages.

No t.v., air-conditioner was struggling to cool down room, no outdoor table to go with outdoor chairs. Also after we booked the room were informed of a cleaning fee on top of the cost of the room. Bed was not made, linen was neatly folded on top of bed that had the bottom sheet on only.

The scenery, nice and quiet, the wild-life was wonderful to see. The room was nice and big as well as the bathroom. Kitchen facilities were great plus the verandah was awesome to sit outside and watch the scenery and wildlife. Plus full size frige-freezer with bottled water was great.

A little more maintenance needed on the building. Some doors couldn’t be opened. Fly wire needed on windows and doors.

I was sent an access code but there was no code on it. we were unsure of how to get in as the office was closed. Lucky the groundsman was there and assisted us.

The cottage was very comfortable. The pool was great. Having your own room was a bonus and the beds were comfortable. Had a great night sleep.
