Day bed and cushions ab fab. View from the hill to the ocean with sunsets - wonderful. Fresh duck eggs supplied by our host for two breakfast - wow!!! The roost had everything we needed and more. It really suited us, a bit rustic, out of town, room to breath and move with plenty of space (cant really see or hear your neighbours). We were there in winter so could use the fire pit which was LOVELY. A table tennis table - oh yeah. We hired e-bikes and they were delivered to our door. Next time, we will bring our doggie as there is a 6 foot rabbit and roo proof fence surrounding the property. Perfect for a frisky kelpie.

Perhaps the bedding was a little light on it gets very chilly at night we luckily had my big sleeping bag and my girlfriend brought one too we were going to bring some sheets and pillows but we didn't but Leticia let us know where the extra stash was of that , perhaps having the third bed made up for my friend would have been nice as she was wondering what was going on with that but the towels and everything else was top notch . Using an electric stovetop to cook the eggs abit tricky as I'm not used to that but that's all we cooked . The only other thing we didn't like is that our trip went too quick and we had to leave . Thankyou for an Amazing place we were totally Blessed and would love to come back 🙏✨🐳🐋

The view and location was awesome we could sit at the table watching the whales morning and evening the sunsets amazing and we were fortunate to get the best weather which made it totally perfect .We had a visit from an emu and daily visits from the swallows . The ping pong table was the absolute best . The thoughtful eggs and veges a nice touch too and plenty of teas and milk to get us started . Leticia was lovely and easy to communicate with my son had the room with a view from both windows I enjoyed the caravan loved the paintings inside and my girlfriend was happy on the deck outside looking out for ETs 😁 she had willy Wagtails jump on her head the first morning but then they disappeared .

Wifi didn't work. But was ok as my telstra did work. There were ants in the kitchen. There were two mouse traps under the sink. I disarmed them as I didn't want to have to deal with a dead animal. I am a lover of All animals.

Fantastic View over looking the ocean. Comfortable Bed. Great kitchen. Nice comfortable place to return to after a day of exploring the area. Ohhh and loved watching all the rabbits out front in the evening. :)

My partner got bitten by a tick - but that was his own fault for wondering into the shrub while he was on the phone - LOL.

This was a little gem, and such a delightful stay. The view was amazing, and the extra touches added by the hosts, made us feel so welcome and special. Brilliant that we could have our doggie with us - that was the attracting factor over all the other accommodation, and so grateful for hosts who welcome our fury friends. Leticia was great, and we have already recommended her place to friends.

Loved the space and view The block gave our fur baby the chance to sniff around and have lots of space for zoomies! The ocean views was superb and relaxing We appreciated the extent of resources that were provided in the house - eggs and fresh kale, chocolate, wine, bathroom essentials such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash & the make-up removal pads Our holiday in Kalbarri was so memorable and Explorer Roost added to the highlight of our experience ! It is a perfect abode if you’re in need of a getaway in Kalbarri.

Bed was soft and the couch/chairs a little uncomfortable.

Location was excellent and the host, Leticia, is very helpful. Very quiet location with easy access. Visits from the local wildlife added to the experience.
