I was not too fussed about the Breakfast part Very simple and basic, 3 types of cereal and some toast to choose from

The room that I stayed in was fabulous, very spacious and comfortable I loved the big open balcony and the private access to the pool area. The views are perfect and delightful to sit and admire sunrise and sunset I am glad the 2nd much smaller room was not occupied, that would have changed alot as the privacy would be a problem

The breakfast was basic but adequate- cereal, fresh fruit and toast.

The view from the expansive balcony was fabulous- looking over the National park to the ocean. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It was great to come home from a hot day in the park to a refreshing swim and having the use of the laundry was a bonus.

This was an amazing relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Very large room with expansive views over the open land and sea. Private swimming pool, walk in dressing area, massive shower, bath and double sinks. Sofa inside, relaxing chairs outside. Excellent for wildlife watching. I highly recommend and would stay here again when in the area.

There were breakfast supplies provided (bread, milk, etc) however the space on the table provided was limited in preparing other foods. Each time the kettle and microwave were turned on at the same time, the power would cut out. Very handy to have use of the washing machine.

Very clean & well presented room above the main residence, heaps of space, lovely to have balcony to sit for meals and enjoy the wonderful view over Kalbarri. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the setting very peaceful and quiet. It was a bonus that the host Margaret has her own food truck business selling very tasty Indonesian food, which we purchased on 2 nights.

The location and views were amazing. From the balcony you could see the ocean, kangaroos, and the beautiful sun setting. The pool was also beautiful. The room was large and spacious, and the hosts very welcoming.

Breakfast: was more of a kids brekky (cornflakes, nutri grain and toast). Perhaps muesli, yoghurt, juice could be included since it is adult accommodation. No kitchen, just a buffet style table with everything on it. Nowhere to sit to eat except outside on balcony which is freezing in winter so you need to stand up at top of stairs and eat! No coffee maker as stated, just a jug to boil water and instant coffee! Items not replenished for stays of more than one night. Not serviced (does not state this in booking conditions) so you need to clean up after yourself! There are so many ornaments/decor on shelves in the bathroom that I was concerned I was going to break something. More attention to things like tissues and/or napkins which were not provided would’ve been nice to have whilst having brekky. Bathroom is beautiful but has large window of glass bricks and due to open plan you always have light shining into bedroom at night.

Mark and Margaret were great hosts. Mark welcomed us personally and showed us around. Everything was clean and tidy. We especially loved the views from the bedroom and the wildlife. We saw kangaroos and emus, which made our stay even more special. Margaret is running an Indonesian food truck on the weekend. We had the pleasure to try her food - it was delicious! During our stay we visited the national park, which is roughly a 30mins drive from the property. You can’t get any closer! Cooling off in the pool after a challenging walk was a great end of the day. If you think about booking this place, don’t wait any longer. You won’t regret it!
