How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Better weather. Wet and cold Melbourne weather on the weekend we stayed would have been great (Nothing can change the weather it was winter0 We were warned expecting about the strong wind by staff on arrival.
Accommodation close to family. Comfortable beds. Good kitchen with everything needed to cook Suitable for 3-4 adults comfortably. Staff were friendly and helpful.

EVERYTHING! I cannot express enough how much I love my stays here! The cabins are always exceptionally clean, and it feels like a home away from home! No dislikes from us.
Honestly our stay was fantastic. Family of 5 given a 2 bedroom cabin. It included a fridge, microwave, oven, stove, an entire kitchenette. It was clean, staff were friendly and accommodating, and the price was great. We had a hiccup having 1 night of our stay cancelled due to the wild weather of a storm, but thanfkully it didn't put us out too much and the accomodation issued a refund for that night.

The unit needs to be renovated, the wood panelling has lost it's gloss, the bathroom needs a deep clean. The kitchen had the biggest frying pan, which really was twice the size of the hotplate and made cooking difficult. There was a shower over the bath and it was very difficult for me to get into (due to knee issues) and no bathmat available, though staff were happy to give me extra bath towels to stand on.
The bed was super comfy, lighting excellent, lots of lights & lamps. Heating, lovely and warm for the entire unit. Ample size kitchen, bathroom with separate toilet. Private parking, in a quiet location. Very friendly staff. Great location. A bus to the city is right outside the gate into the park and 2 local shopping centres & plenty of take-away shops within walking distance or a short drive. Also a good pub with decent pub meals, just 100metres up the road.

The only disappointment was the function room where there the table tennis bats were broken and it seemed like they could update the facilities a little, but this was a minor issue.
The room was great, modern and had everything we could hope for including plenty of room.

Access into cabin 75 and 74 is a bit dodgee, with the concrete being pushed up from tree roots, and the bushes need to be trimmed to improve access from other directions.

Proximity to the airport means that you have airplanes flying overhead through the night. Seems to stop around midnight,starting up again around 5am.
The location close to our son's house was great. The unit was basic but had everything you needed. Mid winter but was still nice and warm. Good to be able to park your car right beside the unit.
