We had a room upgrade which meant we had a really lovely view of the river straight from our room. The room was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful location with a great view of the river from our room. Bedroom was reasonably sized with a comfy bed (that was however on wheels and would move about a lot). Good bathroom - shower had decent pressure. Shared kitchen area that was very clean and well equipped. Overall worth the money and would recommend to others if you’re looking for a quiet stay in a scenic area with easy access to Cape Trib etc.

Location was incredible - a perfect view of the river, and extremely convenient for getting to the ferry crossing into the Daintree. I really appreciated how helpful the owner was - he saw that I was a nature photographer and showed me local wildlife he thought I might be interested in! He really made my day and made me feel so welcome. I will absolutely recommend this place to friends visiting in the future.

Beautiful location. The massive deck was so relaxing, fun to be able to play pool and the piano and just such a beautiful spot overlooking the river. Friendly helpful staff and convenient location

The manager Mick was so pleasant and went the extra mile for us. We loved the boat cruise that he took us on and saw lots of crocodiles. He also had a wealth of knowledge

The hotel is located in the center of the village, although the village itself is quite small. The room was comfortable and suitable for a short stay — we only stayed one night. The river views are spectacular, and there’s a large camping area that looked great. They also have games and a pool table, as well as kitchen facilities. We didn’t use them, but we saw other guests enjoying them, and everything seemed well-organized and fully equipped. The staff was very friendly and supportive. Although I wouldn’t recommend staying in Daintree Village all day, as we didn’t find many activities nearby, the bar and café across the street offered friendly service, good food at a reasonable price, and live music.

Like the lodge feel, overlooking the river and only 100 m from where I caught the boat for the river cruise at 7 am. A a bird photographer the owner was super helpful in finding the best spots.

The location is excellent. The owners were helpful and friendly. The air conditioning was very good. We didn’t use much of the services offered, though in passing they looked very nice and everyone else was enjoying them. The views from the shared patio were amazing. And it was very reasonably priced!

We had such an amazing stay at Daintree Riverview Lodge. The owners are great hosts and were keen to share things about the area, give tips and show wildlife when they spotted it. The facilities are absolutely fine, a little rustic around the edges as can be expected for such a remote place. I would only recommend to arrive in time for sunset, the Lodge sits on a beautiful location looking right over the river (we came just after sunset and wished we came earlier). Highly recommend!

Loved this place from the moment we walked into the office. Rooms were perfect for what we needed and the communal living space had everything you needed to sort breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was also the perfect place to meet people. Loved chatting to Mick about his adventures and life in the Daintree - we will be back when the pool goes in haha

Having to park car up top and you can hear people who can be loud up above where you can stay in vans. Maybe just only let people park cars there and not stay there.

Great location lovely spot can sit in verandah and lookout at river. Room is very cozy lovely bed and furnishings. Also can make coffee and food in the adjoining kitchen and sit on lounge. Great host as well.
