There is a pool, but not that special. The stairwell was grungy, but I guess most people use the lifts.

There are a lot of places to eat and relax in Cullen Bay, within easy reach of the hotel. There is a great variety of places to eat, a beach to watch the sunset or picnic, even a laundromat and hairdresser. The location is great. The hotel is a little older, but still comfortable and well maintained. The parking was very secure.

We found the price of the room was a bit excessive with the age and condition. There has obviously been water damage in the kitchen as the floor boards were all lifted and is a trip hazard

Great outdoor pool and bbq area. Suited our large family group well. Great proximity to the marina, casino and Mindil Beach. Fun Beam or short Uber ride to the waterfront precinct. Staff were very accommodating and the two bedroom apartments were worked well for our family group of 17!

There were hotplates and a microwave but no oven. Also there were odd numbers of cutlery and not many pots/pans to make a proper meal, although it was fine for breakfasts.

The apartment was quite spacious with a nice balcony. There was a full size fridge as well as washing machine and dryer in the room. Apartments were serviced half way through our 8 night stay. There was good off street parking for my vehicle that was too high for the underground carpark.

We were a bit disappointed when we took plates out of the cupboard and they were dirty. We then realised that the cutlery and glasses also weren't very clean. We ended up having to wash anything before we used it. The washing machine leaked water and the water damage on the kitchen and bathroom kickers taped up with gaffer tape was a bit of an eyesore? Perhaps a manual on how to use the convection/microwave could have been helpful as it took a while to work it out? Did mention to reception that perhaps the cleaners could tick off a checklist when cleaning the apartments as there was no vegetable peeler and limited wine and drinking glasses that perhaps when broken haven't been replaced?

We were happy to be upgraded to a premium room from a standard room and enjoyed the view from all windows and balcony. Loved that we could walk to the foreshore and restaurants and cafes and Woolworths was not far to walk in to the city.

Great view of the marina good room and balcony, short walk to Cullen Bay for restraints and bars, walking distance to Darwin cbd or mindle but we got a taxi. Hire an electric scooter is also a good option.

The entire building and our room was a bit dated, although comfortable. It could do with a bit of a facelift, peeling paint on the ceiling needs to be redone. Furniture is a little old and probably could be replaced. Cleaners need to give a little more attention to detail, cleaning fingerprints from key touch points like light switches, doors and door handles etc.

What a great spot! If you want to stay in a quiet, harbourside area, Cullen Bay has a lot to offer. Our room was clean and comfortable. If you want a bit more nightlife and be closer to Darwin city, you'd be best to stay somewhere else as you'll be either driving, calling an Uber or taxi because it's about 15 minutes' drive. But we were very happy with our room and the location of the accommodation. We had a 1-bedroom fully self-contained apartment which suited us perfectly for our trip this time around. Secure under cover parking for our car and walking distance to the local restaurants and bars of Cullen Bay. Would definitely recommend this venue. Room was clean, bed comfy, shower was ok. Ceiling fans in each room which was great!
