Reviews of Crystal Bay On The Broadwater 3.5 stars

The location was great. Opposite the park and waterway with a nice long walkway. The views from the room were beautiful. The unit is self contained and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked perfectly!! We would stay here again.

The toilet button did not work

Nice view, quiet location close to everything we needed. Comfortable beds, great gym and pool. Friendly staff. Nice to have access to a washing machine and dryer and it had everything we needed.

The doors to balcony didn’t lock and it was a bit dated, but nonetheless comfortable.

Right on waterfront, good view, quiet, clean apartment, close to main roads and local transport

No guest book with local information, eateries, shopping, etc, no info on apartment appliances, like TV, microwave, washing machine, missing remote on bedroom TV, couldn't watch "free to air Tv or news " on living room TV, swimming pool was out of action and we were not told, garage security door was not working, not told

You could see across the road to the Broadwater even in a garden view apartment on the lower level. The staff were friendly and helpful and so were all the guests/residents we encountered in our 4 night stay. We felt very at home here.

The place is a little older but still was kept very clean.

The staff were awesome, the facilities were awesome and the neighbours who live there are just lovely

The cupboards were run down, shower broken handle, the foot trip in a room was dangerous. But overall good

The admin/reception staff were absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful!! 10/10 Pillows were also great, perfectly plump. We also liked that it was a fully equipped space.

Unfortunately our room was very dirty. We had to run all plates, glasses, cutlery etc through the dishwasher prior to use. We also had to buy cleaning products to clean the shower and kitchen so we could use them comfortably. My daughter got punctured by a glass shard that was in the living room rug, so then I vacuumed the entire unit and found more glass in the carpet. Staff are great, but the company they use for cleaning could do with some further training.

Reception staff was good, location was good.

First of all after hours check in service was absolutely not convenient. I had to call frequently and was getting disconnected 3 times. We spent almost hour outside to get the details to check in. Absolutely disappointing. Swimming pool was under maintenance which was not included by booking.com nor crystal bay while booking. We were given second floor where we were not able to see the view of the sea, which was completely different than what we saw in booking.com Further to that we were not given any options to choose the number of the apartment.

We love the location, close to everything without being in the hustle and bustle of Surfers. The outlook over the Broadwater towards SeaWorld is beautiful. This time we were on the 10th floor and were able to see the ocean beyond as well. The apartment was pleasant, the beds exceptionally comfortable.
