This was my grandparents’ old house. My dad was brought home as a baby to that house, and I used to go there very day when was a kid. It was lovely to be back 😊

We liked the location, the fire pit and the cleanliness. The location next to the creek and walking track was great. An easy walk to the RSL.

Such a comfortable cottage with everything provided for a relaxing stay. We loved the location with the creek adjoining the property and easy walk to all Stanthorpe’s facilities. Having meals on the deck looking out across the water was lovely.

Everything about this cottage was wonderfull, the position walking distance to town. The cottage was very welcoming and well presented, all amenities provided. The fireplace was easily enough to warm the house against the cold weather, and the new fire-pit in the yard was great to sit around with a wine and contemplate the view over Quart Pot Creek of an afternoon. Can absolutely recommend this cottage!

I liked everything about this accommodation. Complimentary bottle of wine on arrival with personalised envelope and notes was a really nice and unexpected touch. Bed was very comfortable as were the lounge chairs. Very well appointed and the house felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend Creekview Cottage for anyone interesting in staying in Stanthorpe or heading out the to the wineries or bush walking in the national parks. Its location very close to the centre of town was perfect. The adjacent walking track was well used during our short stay. Wasn't cold enough to have the indoor fireplace going but plenty of firewood was available. The outdoor firepit would be great to use in the Winter with a glass or two of local wines. The owners should be commended for the amount of effort that they have put in to provide visitors with a real pleasant experience.

In the bedroom, there was not much space to hang clothes and only one side of the bed had a bedside table and lamp. It would be much more convinient and comfortable to have a table at least and preferably a lamp on both sides of the bed.

Beautiful surroundings and view from a very well equipped house. We especially appreciated the cooking supplies such as spices and olive oil etc in the pantry cupboard. We loved being able to walk along the water in the evening and watch the bird life. The hosts had also left a bottle of local wine in the fridge which was a wonderful touch.

Booking two rooms for two singles on the system was confusing. Hosts were very helpful in working this out for us.

The whole experience was excellent - comfortable, quiet & 'country' setting were all very welcome. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Great location, just minutes from town centre.

Spacious cottage neatly kept and very clean. Great location close to town and public pool, with open views across parkland and the waterway. It was just over the fence to walking tracks running through the parkland adjacent to the water.
