Only thing I can say is a negative is the TV didn’t have access to streaming services so was stuck with standard tv

The Price is too expensive for the room quality, also need to sort out the Restaurant its very disappointing, it was once excellent with a buffet all you can eat tea... but now its been turned into an A la carte restaurant with an extremely limited menu, we had to go to the Cradle Mountain lodge to get a meal where they have much better variety..

Everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming & friendly with a great sense of humour. The room (king suite) was comfortable, warm on arrival, immaculately clean, bed was super comfortable and plenty big enough. The meals at the restaurant were amazing, as was the included buffet breakfast. The cradle mountain team were notified of our anniversary prior to our arrival & left us a beautiful handwritten card and complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate. The entire team at the hotel are super thoughtful and left us wanting for nothing.

You could hear every little noise, we could hear people sneezing and talking in other rooms. We could hear people walking past the rooms. The pillows were very soft and only one pillow per person, could have done with a few more pillows.

It snowed the whole time and was just so magical, the buffet breakfast was exceptional. The service was wonderful and we loved the little areas where we could sit near the fire place and take in the view. We loved the complimentary hot chocolate sachets and biscuits.

The rooms are a little dated now, and lack soundproofing, so the noise from other rooms and the corridor could be heard easily, which was a challenge with a toddler.

The breakfast and lounge spaces were great, especially with a toddler. The pool table was great when it was raining, and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. We loved visiting the Wilderness exhibit.

Really dated bathroom, certainly in need of a revamp but not really complaining because it was really clean. The restaurant tries a little too hard in the evening. After a full day walking the portions are small and the price is large.

Lovely fires all around the place, room was comfortable. A really friendly feel around the lounge/ bar area. Staff were exceptional, thanks Zac.

Appliances were abit old and PowerPoint plugs out of reach. Kind of pricy but maybe due to the location.

Totally pleasant experience even though the room may look kinda old but it is still spacious and comfortable. A balcony opening in which you can open and see outside and enjoy the view. Didn’t get to get to animals and didn’t snow unfortunately. I would come back again if there is a better deal in the future

The Wi-Fi was a little dicey as we kept getting booted off, however there is still mobile data/phone signal in the immediate hotel vicinity anyway.

We arrived 4 hours early and requested an early check-in. Front desk granted our request without hesitation and at no additional cost. The EV charging facilities were excellent and certainly needed as the cold temperatures made our batteries less efficient while placing extra demands on heating.

I don’t think the dinner menu had much variety and personally wasn’t very appealing, nevertheless we decided on the rib eye steak and it was very delicious.

Extremely comfortable beds, staff were very friendly, very clean and the rooms were warm and cosy. The buffet breakfast was very enjoyable.
