Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

AustraliaAs we were on a shared business trip our room was very small to fit 2 single beds into and there was a small 1m wide outdoor area off the sliding door, felt very claustrophobic, the room was very basic and I would have booked 2 rooms instead if I had known. Also the corridor on the ground floor so very noisy as when doors slammed or people were talking it echoed, like they were inside our room.
Location was excellent few streets from Esplanade walking distance to cafes restaurants, parking onsite or on the street directly out front of hotel Pool was relaxing and calming to sit by at the end of a long day Bed and pillows were comfy, shower was hot! Breakfast was included but we opted to eat out at the esplanade cafe for the amazing view, so can't comment on quality or what was offered.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our room ( and bed) was very comfortable. We particularly liked the pool area and appreciated that we could use this and the lounge area after our checkout until we departed later in the day.

United StatesWe arrived on a weekend. We signed up for the "Green Stay" program. The reception check-in staff were nice, but we found out when the weekday staff were on duty, a few things could have been better explained to us.
The location was the key. We were blocks from the "esplanade" and beach. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go- down to the ferry/boat docks, shops, restaurants. We had been on a tour and wanted to spend some extra time in Cairns. The Coral Tree Inn's price was more reasonable than the tour hotel, plus the location was better.

AustraliaThe "good breakfast" was kinda lacking... Coffee was poor-average, no bacon or fried eggs. There was a toaster of sorts, but you couldn't make a toasted sandwich, so if you put cheese on it, it would go cold. Worst of all, no sneeze guards covering all, we saw people coughing over dinner of the food. Juice was good. Mini croissants were good. The bed wasn't comfy, and the lack of a dining table had us eating on the bed.
