How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and came with a convenient kitchenette, making it just the right size for a couple. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to guide us with recommendations for food, shopping, and places to visit. The best part was the location — right in the heart of the city, with easy access to cafés, restaurants, transport, and shops. Overall, the service was very good, and the hotel had a welcoming feel. Considering the location and amenities, the rate we paid was very reasonable compared to many other hotels. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and convenience.

I am a member of ASR but I was not told about the benefits of complementary services etc
The service at check in was perfect . When we had issue with the carpark the check in lady helped us . Room was up to expectation value for money , spacious clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect too!

Room cleaning is only every 2 days. We were out late most nights and thus had the do not disturb sign out during the mornings… staff left us a card saying that if we wanted our room cleaned to contact housekeeping by 1600. We went out around 1545 but when i took the card to reception they said it was too late to properly clean the room as staff had left and they could only take out trash and change towels. If you have a written policy you NEED to honour it. We were quite disappointed about this and made that point firmly but politely to reception staff. Kitchen knife was completely blunt, service staff clearly need to pay better attention to these kinds of small details as they do add up. Also if cleaning IS to be only every 2 days then they need to at least have a toilet brush in the bathroom. This in particular made me uncomfortable after the cleaning schedule was not followed properly. Fridge was very very very loud to the point it should really be looked at by a technician.
Location excellent, nice spacious room and comfy bed. Room was a solid 8/10 clean when we arrived, better than most rooms we stay in to be honest so thats good too.

Poor quality towels
I always choose to stay at Citadines. Great Location and value. Enjoy the pool and sauna. We appreciated an up grade and a roll out bed was delivered to the room. Lovely thought as we had requested twin beds.

The rooms do need an update, but they are clean and comfortable. I would not call this hotel luxurious.
I stayed in a one bedroom suit that was spacious and had everything to make my stay comfortable. The location afforded me every opportunity to get to everything I need to easily.

Although it was practical the kitchen items could use a revamp as they were slightly outdated. I feel as though the hotel should also be offering hotel restaurants and room service, (basically they should include f&b services).
Its convenient location and rooms practicality when It came to storage and appliances. The beds were made comfortably and the hotel was clean.

the shower had no water pressure. The soaps/shampoos in the shower were very budget. there were only ever 2 towels left and we kept asking for 3 or 4. The freezer didn't work and was full of water in the bottom and this was a full fridge freezer. Told front desk but this wasn't fixed during our stay. No extra blanket for the bed which would have been nice. Overpriced
Great location with tram right outside and 5 minute walk to the train station. Liked the views over the city. Liked having a kitchen and full fridge. Couch was very comfortable and great to have a table to eat and work from. Liked the separate bedroom and the room had a safe. Liked that our room was cleaned when we requested it.
