We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

AustraliaEverything went well until our third day. Our room was not serviced, it's like we were forgotten, as there we weren't offered an explanation or an apology. We did let reception know on our way out for the evening and were told that she was going up to check. Credit to this reception member, she took our wet towels and replaced them with fresh ones. While we were out, I received a text message that I was parked in a resident's parking spot. I was entirely sure I had not, but I started heading back to the hotel. I was texted again requesting my rego number, which I gave upon request at check in two days prior. A further text told me to ignore as it had been sorted, A simple check of the record before disturbing me would have prevented this in the first place. We felt a little peed given we paid almost $1500. Totally worth it if we received a level of service that was expected. The biggest annoyance- not a single apology. Not for the car parking accusation, or the room not being serviced. Felt a bit like we didn't matter.
The view and the room soundproofing were epic, as it can be noisy outside. nice welcome ambience in the room when we entered. Welcome treats. Room was clean and tidy.

AustraliaI found it very confusing finding the carpark and not being able to get in from one side of the street. Not an issue with the hotel just limited me wanting to leave in my car with the hassle trying to get back into the carpark.

AustraliaA quirky hotel in its decor and vibe. Loved the handwritten welcome attached to the bag of sweets and the staff were warm and friendly. Parking was tight and at an additional cost but secure and off-street. Good location with plenty of cafe options nearby. Loved the huge rainhead shower which was absolutely decadent. We only spent the one night there but would stay longer next time.
