There were hammocks by the lake, we sat on them for few minutes when a girl approached us and told us they were private. She was nice about it but we felt bad because we didn’t know. Wish we were told about what was private and what was public use.

It is not made very clear on Booking.com that this is a dry site. You are not allowed to have any alcohol on the property at all. I think this should be in big bold writing at the top of the listing. We still would have stayed her knowing before hand but it was annoying that we were celebrating something and we had to go else where to drink our champers. Also Linen is ticked on the facilities however this is not actually provided. You either need to bring your own or hire some.

We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Elim. We needed somewhere to stay the night in the area that was cheap. Not only was this place cheap but was in an excellent location. The camp grounds is right on the water and our cabin had views of it. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was absolutley perfect, out of town but not too far .The lake in full view of our cabin ,Pristine beaches on the otherside of the road It was so peaceful and i actually felt relaxed and recharged .The cabin was a very generous size , lots of room and with everything a family could need..We enjoyed a lovley afternoon at the picnic table watching the sun set ..We have just spent the night in Newcastle and wish we could turn around and come bk to camp ...

Nothing- was perfect

I liked the Blue Blanket I used on my bed… it reminded me of my Mothers Blue eyes … she passed away on January 18th 2024 … I miss her so much …the Blanket gave me comfort… it was soft & warm … I have taken it home with me and regret taking it now. Can I please 🙏 forward you money for it as I 💗 love it so much. How much is it worth and I shall pay… please 🙏. Otherwise I will return it myself personally. 😇😇😇 Love 💕 Light 🌟 Blessings 💫 Henrietta

$138 is A little pricey for a single person but worth it wish I could stay there in my car for 3 weeks. But can’t afford it. ☹️

There was no bed linen, but could be rented for a fee. We were unaware of this is out of the norm and I must not have read it beforehand.

Location was beautiful. Cabin was very spacious and clean. Was very quiet during my time there with maybe just one or two other people around. Would stay again.

The location was a bit secluded and not busy at all which made it a bit spooky. Also it is a bit further from town than other accommodations, with only one beach option nearby that was a bit unsafe to swim in

Wonderful welcome and check-in. Well maintained grounds. Appeared to be plenty to do for children. Beautiful lakeside location, beach only 5 mins away. Very nice cabin and deck to enjoy the sunset.

We weren't aware of the no alcohol policy until arriving so had to discard some bottles rather than be kicked out if "spotted" in car or being drank
