Very disappointed to not have a little milk in the room for tea & coffee (we arrived after hours so couldn't contact reception). We could not access any TV channels apart from ABC. Tried re-tuning but no help. Shower pressure was not very strong.

Bed was comfortable. After hours check in was easy & communication was good.

No daily room service, only on the fourth day. It’s not a big deal as the hotel notified us when checking in. However more soap, shampoo and conditioner should be provided enough for 3 days.

Would of been great to have a Mini bar or bottled water in the room, happy to have paid for this, just a suggestion.

After hours check in was easy, and appreciated I didn’t check-in until after 10pm, I received an email that gave me clear instructions what to do when I arrived, hassle free, I would stay here again with no issues thank you

It’s quite an old hotel, the sink and bathroom had cracks in it, and the general feel of the room was quite old.

The spa and pool are very nice. Nice view from the mountain side

In-house breakfast was ok but not explained that many standard items were not included eg tea and coffee. A bit of a walk to main centre.

Value for money. Helpful staff and easy, secure parking. Pool area was very well set out and cared for. Much better than some others we have stayed in.

Balcony outside on ground floor full of smoke. Room smelt like strong airfreshener post someone smoking in there. As an asthmatic this wasn't great.

A little far from the esplanade. Mix up between the hotel and Booking. Com about our included breakfasts.We went through 3 different staff about this. It should have been sorted out on our arrival, it was on our booking form.Breakfast is only at the hotel Monday to Friday , you get a voucher to use at a nearby coffee shop for weekends , which is not as good.

Secure parking was good. Breakfast was good at the hotel. Clean room.

We booked the package that included breakfast but their kitchen is closed on the weekends. They gave us a voucher for a local cafe to get breakfast but we had day trips that started before the cafe opened on the weekend. I wish we knew the breakfast hours before we booked and I wouldn’t have paid for it since we couldn’t use it every day.

There is never enough towel rails to hang wet towels. The plant in the bathroom needed a good dust, the leaves were very dusty. The pool is in serious need of some maintenance - tiles missing from the edges of the pool and the bottom was very rough. It was frustrating that the remote for the parking garage wasn’t left with the room keys and it took a bit of sorting to get it.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Great to have iron and ironing board.

Had quite a firm bed which didn’t let me sleep too well and had to pay for tea / coffee at Breakfast One surely could be included in the price

It’s not close to restaurants/shops, seems a bit of a dodgy area. Mostly the fact you’re given a $20 voucher to cover your breakfast at nearby cafe on the weekend when you’ve paid for that with your room. Voucher should be increased to $25 to at least to cover basic eggs on toast and a coffee as $20 didn’t cover just a basic breakfast. Especially when you’re charging $350 a night. Otherwise this should be made clear when booking.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Room was spacious and clean. Big windows with ocean view which was nice. Handy having a microwave. Bed was comfortable. Nice pool. Although not in CBD, still not too far to walk to cairns central shopping centre.

Bed was not so comfortable, Pool did not look inviting. Arrived just before check in time but staff said very strict rules and could not check in until dot of 2.00pm.

Room was clean , was not as close to town as we initially thought but was still in a good location for access to airport and town. Great to have the car parking.

No gym, and the location.

It was small but personal. Breakfast was delicious. It was a small but adequate buffet choice with the option of eggs cooked to your choice on request. Omelette was lovely.

The photo of the pool is deceptive. It is really small, with no more than 8 or 9 beds. Not a place to go if relaxing by the pool is your thing. Also, the sea view room? You need good eyesight is all I can say there
