Amazing hotel in a great location.

I think the only tiny thing is that we didn’t easily find the lights to put on for upstairs hanging area near the TV so we struggled a little bit with that and it was no big deal

We loved our stay. And were delighted and excited to receive an upgrade and a special desert to celebrate my birthday. Everyone was fabulous and had a fantastic view of the city and Just. The setup and arrangement was very comfortable with the window seat being a particular highlight to sit and watch the world go by. Thank you very much for your kindness and care. Raquel and Tori were very warm and friendly at Reception. I really enjoyed the thoughtful breakfast, which was of a high-quality. The avocado, the different types of beans for the baked beans and the Le creuset ovenware were a lovely touch.

We had a few hiccups (birthday not initially remembered despite request at time of booking; charged for a breakfast we didn’t have) but all dealt with well by staff.

Everything about this hotel was truly special! The location, staff, room, and more. I proposed to my then-girlfriend and now-fiancée just before we arrived, letting them know my plan beforehand. We received a lovely card and a bottle of wine - they made us feel incredibly special! Thanks heaps to the staff who made our day truly unforgettable!

Bathroom taps difficult to turn off, particularly sink tap- which we couldn’t turn off completely.

The room heating wasn’t working too well. Nice that there was a portable heater and blanket already in the room, but it was still quite cold, need to upgrade the heating and cooling of the rooms. The water temperature with the shower was temperamental at times. Wish room service was all night as well

The service from the get go was amazing at Ovolo! Really lovely to have a surprise anniversary dessert and card. Hotel has a luxurious and quirky feel to it and the room was really nice and big, with gorgeous views. Bathroom was lovely too. The location was a highlight. Buffet breakfast was nice too, barista coffee was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was lovely. Fresh and plentiful. Staff super helpful. Health shot on the way in was a great touch. Coffee excellent and the selection of teas delicious. Relaxing bath salts a real treat at the end of busy day exploring the great experiences Sydney has to offer. Proximity to the botanical gardens, circular quay and the art gallery outstanding. Fresh air with a window I could open delightful. The decor and ambience was a treat. Unexpected and very fun. The staff again super helpful.

The pigeons clattering over the skylights each morning at daybreak! Although by the third morning it was easy to ignore and go back to sleep. The blinds on the skylight were tricky to open and close too - I would advise leaving them down!

The person who checked us in noticed from my passport that it was my birthday, so bubbles were sent up shortly after we checked in, which was a lovely start to our stay. The room, or suite really, was spacious and very comfortable, especially the bed. It was lovely to relax on the couch and look out over the water. Having access to Alexa was very useful and it was great to be able to play music through the room's speaker. We loved the coffee maker too and even the nice touch of a jar of bath salts in the bathroom, which allowed for a lovely soak after a hard day's sightseeing. It was a real home from home. And finally, the staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful.

The thermostat wasn't working. Luckily they had mobile heaters, but it's a little more tricky (turning them on and off all the time).

What a gorgeous hotel! Very beautiful. And the size of the loft was perfect. Wonderful bathroom, comfortable bed. The staff was so lovely!
