The remote location is part of the charm, but be prepared for limited phone reception in some areas. However, this also made it the perfect place to truly disconnect and relax!" Nothing against the house. But it does get very hot up there. A dry kind of heat too during summer.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Blue House and it was nothing short of delight. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of our daily life. The serenity was truly something special. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature, sipping coffee while overlooking the vineyards, and breathing in the fresh country air was an absolute dream. The cottage itself was charming, cozy, and beautifully maintained, offering all the comforts of home with the added luxury of complete seclusion - bacon and eggs, YUM! One of the best parts? It was absolutely perfect for our two dogs! 🐶🐶 They had plenty of space to explore, sniff, and enjoy the fresh country air right alongside us. We loved exploring the stunning Mt Cole region, then unwinding in the afternoon with some incredible wines from the Mountainside Wines cellar door. Jane and Shane were warm and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect weekend escape. If you're looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, enjoy fantastic wine, and bring your four-legged companions along, The Blue House at Mountainside Wines is the ideal retreat.

I absolutely loved the peacefulness of the property’s location. The view and the sounds of nature was all there to enjoy and take in. The very comfortable Blue House with a wood fire, a well equipped kitchen. All the ingredients there to cook a delicious breakfast. Having no TV, internet and limited phone service worked very well for me. Jane and Shane were the perfect hosts. I would recommend The Blue House to anyone looking for somewhere quiet to stay. The bonus is the enjoyment of tasting some of their finest wines.

Couch was not comfortable. Some comfy lounge chairs that can be pull in front of the fire would have been nice.

Very relaxing and lovely hospitality. Enjoyed the wine tasting from the wines made onsite. Stunning outlook over the rolling hills. The fire to keep us warm overnight was super relaxing. Our dog loved the fenced yard. We look forward to returning.

Great for our dog, fenced off area for her to stretch her legs and explore safely. Fire place is great, set up ready for us to light on arrival. Owners were so lovely and welcoming. Lovely quiet location, so relaxing.

Warm and friendly hospitality upon arrival. Cottage was equipped with everything you would need, and not having wifi or TV (as advertised), was a lovely touch to just enjoy the fireplace, cook some food and read a book. Bliss!!

We didn't want to leave! And we should have spent more time at the cellar door next to the cabin to taste some wines.

We used Blue House at Mountainside Wines as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. The hosts had the heat on for our arrival and a stack of firewood ready to go. Fresh eggs, milk and bacon plus cereal and spreads were supplied for our breakfasts. Our dogs enjoyed the freedom of the fully enclosed yard. Jane and Shane were wonderful hosts ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. We will be back!

Very pretty, set in a vineyard with lots of open space. We took our two Labradors and they had a great time. The hosts were friendly and helpful and not intrusive. Their micro vineyard produces some really nice wine too!

Loved the location and the scenery. Could have sat on the balcony watching the mountains and the stars for days, whilst enjoying some mountainside wines 🍷 Hosts Jane and Shane were delightful and so lovely.

Nothing! It was a beautiful relaxing stay with everything we could have asked for in the cottage.

The view was breath taking! Breakfast was plentiful. The best bacon and eggs I have eaten in ages! The hosts were super friendly and most accommodating to my little dog.

A peaceful little haven set amongst the mountains. Beautifully clean. Wood fire was our highlight as we got in late and it was rather cold.
