Our studio was spacious yet cozy. Perfect for me and my teenage daughter. Hidden quiet and private yet so close to everything. We had everything we needed. Sue was very welcoming. I plan to be back .

Absolutely nothing! Even though the bathroom is shared, it's resort level with all the amenities.

I absolutely love this place! Its just so frickin adorable! 2nd time around and even better than i remember! Easy going, laid back and absolutely peaceful. Sue is so lovely, friendly and knows anything you need to know about things to do. The accommodation is authentic aussie country quaint, nothing pretentious but everything you need. The gardens are amazing, we saw a possum on the first night, a few Quendas on the second and a number of dazzling birds! Room was well equipped with tele, reverse cycle air con and one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in! I can't recommend this place enough for a peaceful little down south break ❤️

It’s a perfect little retreat under the forrest, lots of birds and very comfortable. Ideal for the price. Walkable to shops/town and easy access for someone arriving late at night (I photographed a wedding).

There was really nothing to dislilke.

The lodge is set in a very beautiful little tropical-like vegetation that makes it look like a tropical forest. The place is very clean and makes one feel they are in another world. The warm welcome by the host was special and it made our stay very memorable.

The beds. The double/queen mattress was only comfortable in the middle, sagging on both sides. The room (Wattle Studio) was advertised as two beds, one a pull out couch. The 'single' bed is more like a small adult sleeping cot. Great for kids, or anyone under 5'8, but anything over your feet will be dangling. The mattress moves around and you have to adjust it everyday. The visitors book was out of date regarding evening dining. Don't rely on google either, call the place directly, you'll get better answers 🙂 There is also a rat living in the wall above the door. It didn't bother us, but is worth mentioning.

Great location, walking distance to the town and it's attractions. Restaurants, convenience stores, whatever you may need is not far away. The gardens are nice and there are lots of birds to watch. We stayed in the Wattle Studio. Fully stocked kitchenwares, the aircon was a lifesaver in the heatwave while we were there and there were lots of great amenities for the cold as well. The place was clean and tidy with an old cottage character.

We were late arriving, but the host greeted us personally and showed us to our accommodation. We were on motorcycles and were shown to safe, off-road, and undercover parking. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and everything we needed to self cater was available. The trees and vegetation all around, the cottage screened it from the road, and it felt secluded. It was quiet, private, and rustic. Just what we wanted.

Mosquitoes! (Although there is repellent and a fly net around table so not really an issue, just make sure kids close doors! 😂)

We booked this as it looked like a great value break away. We stayed In the safari tent and it was really comfortable. It felt like we were out in the bush, but we could easily walk to town. There’s an abundance of wildlife. Possums, bandicoots, birds, frogs which was lovely. On a 39 degree day, Sue the host dropped off additional fans, so we’d be comfortable. It was a really wonderful stay.

No hot water to do the dishes but it's not a big deal. We just boiled some water to get some hot water to do the dishes.

Very clean shared bathrooms and toilet. Comfy bed. Very convenient location to the town centre and cafes. We could go for a short walk to get our morning coffee.
