How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is no cameras No fencing around the property I had someone break into my car via smash back window and steal my metal detector out of car And it has happened with other tenants

Fridge too small The receptionist was a tad direct. We arrived after 1 but before 2. As soon as I walked in she said are you checking in. I said yes. She said the rooms aren’t ready come back at 2. Could have been friendlier. A lot of trouble with toasters at bfast not working. The whole area could have been organized a lot more efficiently.
Quite roomy. Had 2 bedrooms. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom Had a big bath so if you aren’t flexible it might be difficult getting in & out.

The noisy air-con unit
The staff were dealing with rennovations and were doing this politely and patiently and always with a helpful attitude and smiles. The facilities are aged but clean.

Not secure parking. Could probably do with putting in security gates, but apart from that, everything else is ok.
Quiet location. Easy driving to all attractions and town centre. Comfortable room with wifi and streaming.

Only 2 cups and saucers in room. A couple of plates would have been useful
Large room and very comfortable bed. The included continental breakfast was fantastic. The free laundry with brand new machines was very welcome

No car park security needs gates at both entries to prevent trespassers(a car 2 rooms up from us was broken into, maybe a microwave in the room cupboard as well to heat stuff up ie baby bottles

Hair in shower and hair on seat of the toilet. No cleaning done behind the toilet. Dust on head of the bed.

The cleaning products are too strong smelling, and I feel that there is residue on the bathroom floor and shower floor. Unfortunately it is not good for people with allergies, good old vinegar would give the same if not better results without the strong chemical smell.

We weren’t aware of the restaurant and office being refurbished. We had to go and get our breakfast in the cold between 7 and 9 in the morning.
The rooms was comfortable and parking in front of your room is always good.

Automatic messages are a stress, not needed before 2pm check in. Road noise early hours it is a mining town.
Clean, convenient even with kitchen renovations breakfast catered and room service. Looking forward to seeing new restaurant when done

The Restaurant was closed due to it undergoing some works, but the hotel offered room service which was fine, but we ended up driving into town for meals. Breakfast was setup in a room close to reception which worked okay. Pool was closed (not that we wanted to go for a swim).
We stayed in room 8 in July 2025. The room was 'old', but well cleaned and presented okay. Wifi was strong and the Smart TV worked well. Shower and toilet area also 'old' and the whole room really needs a facelift and some love. Bed was really comfy and shower was hot. Aircon/Heatpump worked well and we didn't feel cold during the nights and mornings. Staff were friendly and happy to help wherever possible.

The rooms were quite dated, one of the tvs in the family suite was damaged and the bath/shower was very narrow.

Dryer free but unfortunately it's not working well . Must be costing a fortune in electricity for the motel . Probably worth upgrading to save bill
