The property and bedrooms face a road, but not a busy one. We had an issue with the electrics which couldn’t be helped, but the response was fast and efficient.

This is probably one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed in! Exceptionally clean, very spacious, super comfy beds, amazing facilities indoor and out, and very nice extra touches. Added to that Port Fairy is gorgeous and with the beach literally 2 mins from the house, it is an excellent spot!

Not a thing!

Spotlessly clean, excellently equipped, tastefully decorated. Superb location right next to the beach and a few minutes by car from Port Fairy. The time and effort that the owners have put into the house is obvious, “they have thought of everything”. We have no reservation whatsoever in recommending Banksia Beach House.

We had a perfect 2 night stay. The beach is only one min walk away. All facilities exceeded our expectations. We were overwhelmed with how nice it was to find a bottle of bubbly and chocolates in the fridge.

Where do we start !! Absolutely perfect for us. The moment the friendly agent helped us with the key, we walked inside and it smelled wonderful! And the furniture was absolutely beautiful. We loved the complimentary bottle of wine, biccies, etc The really short walk to the most gorgeous beach, East Beach, gave us many beautiful beach walks ! The brush tailed possums were out at night, and was lovely to see them up so close! They were in our tree !! The big king size bed was just huge !! And extremely comfortable! The electric gate and electric roller door was a great sense of security The location from town was fantastic for us, and we just thought Port Fairy was definitely one of our favourite destinations so far ! This beautiful home was a home away from home !

We had such a wonderful stay here! Such a cosy, clean, well appointed and beautiful home. The owners have really thought of EVERYTHING. Coffee, tea, milk, chocolates, sparkling water, sparkling wine all there on arrival, a phone charger (so handy!) and plenty of bathroom products. The gas heater warmed the home up so quickly and was so cosy during our winter stay. It was so clean and tidy, beds so comfortable and plenty of space. The house is located right behind the beach, it took us 40 seconds to walk onto the sand! We will definitely be back!

Location is fantastic, a 2 minute walk to the ocean, a 5 minute drive to center of town. There was everything we needed, comfortable beds, lovely area to sit outside, very bright & very clean. I highly recommend staying here.

Banksia Beach House has everything you need for both short and long term stays. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. There were lots of nice touches as well. Cheese and biscuits plus a bottle of bubbles in the fridge. A very good selection of teas, clothes washing powder, dishwasher tablets, current magazines to read and board games for the evening. Could not fault this lovely house. 😀

The house was beautifully clean and comfortable. The weather was really cold so we enjoyed staying in the warm and cosy house. It's so close to everything and the sunshine pours into the living area in the morning which is beautiful.
