How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Only reason its not a 10/10 is there was no coffee at 5:30am. Why not provide a decent self serve Nespresso machine with a few milk options in a fridge near the breakfast bar? UHT milk in the rooms is not a good option.
Fast check in and check out. That's really all I cared about. Didn't have to talk to anyone, or wait for anything. Minimal time from Aeroplane to sleep. Maybe add a third check in kiosk to reduce wait time by a further 30 sec.

A few things yes but overall worthwhile experience with being so close to airport. Within walking distance to airport - either over the plaza outside or straight through the lower level of airport via the new Valet parking and baggage claim area. Didn’t have to go outside at all. So my email said a checkout email and text would be sent to me in morning for checkout, but I didn’t receive it. Thought the Restaurant a bit pricy for an airport hotel. Bathroom not practical at all. Open shower not practical and water went everywhere. This might be cool on The Block but in real life it’s just not practical. Very dangerous floor slipping hazard. Found the Room was very warm. Needed two key cards because one turned the power on in the room and the other was for the door lock. So I assume with no power on and blinds wide open the room got very hot. We had to leave the power on in the room so as to cool down the room while we went to dinner. Also noted that the toilet was not thoroughly clean - something on bowl, stain from previous people. Nothing major but I am mentioning it as I thought for the price we’re paying for one night without breakfast surely a clean toilet isn’t too much to ask for.
Great Location so close to airport. Nice restaurant. Delicious food. Very nice and friendly staff. Very nice room, small but all we need. Loved watching the planes take off - if your room is on that side of the building. Easy check in /not so easy check out.

The decor - the concrete, ply wood and big yellow circle on the ceiling is just too "trendy" for my taste. Also QR codes for everything and online check-in and out is annoying.
Very convenient for the airport. Nice big rooms. Comfy beds.

Would have liked some lighter options, eg soup, on the menu. We were surprised by the unexpected surcharge for our prepaid breakfast.

Nothing really. Pay for the location so why it’s a little more expensive.
Breakfast was nice. Bed was super comfy. Location perfect especially for a layover:stopover. Bar and restaurant conveniently located.

Perfect for late night flight arrival before catching next flight following day. No need to spend additional time & money travelling to a motel. Collected our bags at airport, walked next door & collected room key & straight up to room. Bed very comfortable.

The room was noisy from either an aircon unit or other machinery.
Its location to the airport makes catching an early morning flight a lot easier. the facilities are good and comfortable.
