Absolutely amazing staff and place highly recommended. Very clean, tidy and an awesome location, not far from everything. I left some earrings behind and they were quick to contact and organise a way for me to retrieve them.

Although I was prepared for the building works I elected to arrange things so that I was out on tours the other days and back to enjoy the apartment on Sunday. Unfortunately they let you down and they were still drilling etc. I know this is beyond your control but thought you should know

The couch wasn't very comfortable, and there were too few power points.

Very close to the beach and the town area with all the shops and restaurants. They also provided free of charge items to make our stay more comfortable, such as beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, beach and shopping trolleys, kids toys, books, games and a small amount of exercise equipment

Very good facility, 2 steps away from beach and trial walking. Free towels,bikes and heaps of other stuffs. I wish I stayed more days here. Will be back.

There was construction going on next door, but we were pre warned about it well in advance. It was just a bit noisy first thing in the morning.

Fantastic location, easy walk to shops and beach 😊. There was everything available for you to use during your stay, bikes, beach chairs, you name it they had it. Staff were brilliant, nothing was a problem. Would definitely stay here next time we visit Port Douglas.

This little motel is a few steps away from a stunningly beautiful beach, and it's clean and bright and very cheerful, with a great view of the water from our balcony. The motel supplies literally everything you could possibly ever need for your stay, from bikes, to chairs, to coolers and thermoses and towels and umbrellas. It even supplied ice and filtered water (and a pitcher!), which were much appreciated! The kitchenette in our room was really well stocked. The pool was clean and refreshing. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. The motel is between the beach and is a couple minute's walk from the main part of the cute town of Port Douglas -- super close, but in a quiet spot. This stay definitely exceeded my expectations -- I was really impressed with the level of thoughtfulness and care that was evident all over By the Sea. Great stay; would highly recommend.
