Very old and outdated, definitely not as clean as it could have been, also we stayed for 3 days and the towels were not changed.

Needs a little revamping. A couple of not positive interactions with other people hanging around. Don't believe they were guest.

Location was convenient to our family, cost. Staff responded to our request in a kind way.

Was told that the room just went through an update so may smell like paint but in reality it just smelt like they were covering up mould smell.

The accommodation was in easy walking distance of a good coffee shop and bakery and also a small supermarket and restaurants. The main reason for choosing however was proximity to places I needed to be. There is a bus stop very close to the resort with regular services to a large shopping centre and the city. Fifty cent fares make it a brilliant option for travelling around Cairns

That reception wasn't as available as I would have liked. The open hours aren't as generous as other places I've stayed at.

Lack of communication, possibly due to Public Holidays. It seems to be a place for permanent residents and tradies. Brought the outside chairs in - they were useful for airing clothes. The people downstairs were smokers, ok people, but best with closed doors upstairs for a non-smoker.

Arrived after 4pm so picked up key and map from locker as admin closed. Map was very confusing. Could have been much simpler directions to room. Or might have just been my lack of sense of direction. Missed having a hair dryer in the room, but reception probably would have provided one if I asked.

Clean. Had unexpected room service. Due to nature of trip didn't get to see the facilities. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Put a clothes dryer rack in my room for me whole i was out as I wouldn't get back in time to get from Reception. Will stay there again. Easy onto main road into town. Close to shopping centre.

The room had a very chemical based smell when we first arrived. It also could have done with a freshen up as, there was dust on the shelf that held the plates, the cutlery didn't appear clean, there was dirt in the cupboard where the dustpan and broom sat and the toilet roll kept falling on the floor as the toilet roll holder was not functional which was not hygenic. Also the iron didn't work well, additional towels, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and toilet paper were not replenished during our stay. We ended up running out of toilet paper and reception was not open when this happened to get more so we had to buy our own.

We loved the pool and park for the kids. We liked the fact that it was close to everything we needed.
