Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. AustraliaThere is no dining room or bar now, although we were told it had only recently changed when new management made the decision, it meant we had to go out for evening meal. The area was still there but not to eat or have a drink or listen to the piano etc.
Very nice breakfast area where pastries and toast were available as well as coffee and teas. The hotel is in a very convenient location near all facilities ie museums and galleries. Plenty of Restaurants are near.

The location and entrance of the hotel is great. Very arty and atmospheric and felt lush. However comparing my last stay here (6 or 7 years ago) I was disappointed that my room felt old and in need of some love. Writing on the mirror was tacky and furniture is becoming dated, though the bed was really comfortable and clean.

Great location and really friendly staff who were more than happy to help out. The rooms are set out well and plenty of room for us two. The bathroom is massive as well. The breakfast was a lovely surprise!

AustraliaWe had our 2 year old toddler with us - the hotel isn’t kid friendly as there’s no lifts as you enter the hotel building (so not pram or wheelchair friendly). No parking available at the hotel. We were advised to park next door at the Wilson parking and on the website it says it’s a discount of $16 per exit which we thought that’s great! But upon arrival we were told it was $30 per day (which was a bummer because we would’ve opted to pay a cheaper rate online). Also our ticket wasn’t validated properly. Though I must say all the staff There are exceptional and rectified the ticket issue immediately.
We love the location! Super central and close to cafes and restaurants. We also love the artistic decor in the foyer. The king bed was extremely comfortable to sleep on and the complimentary snacks and nonalcoholic drinks were awesome (would’ve liked some alcoholic beverages in the fridge which we would’ve been happy to pay for). The complimentary pastries with coffee and tea in the morning were delicious and pastries were so fresh and delicious.
