Accommodation was very clean and fresh smelling. And although close to the road was very quite when doors were closed. Good sized bathroom, and adequate kitchen equipment. Location great, just 5 minutes walk to Muddys playground.

We chose this accommodation as the pool has a great shallow area for young children. The base of this section of the pool was however too hard for the little one to sit/crawl on as it was like a gravel. Other than that, everything was fantastic 🙂

Fantastic location with a bus stop right out the front! One block away from the esplanade and a close walk to Muddys Cafe and playground. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were very understanding when we needed to change our dates at the last minute for medical reasons which we were very grateful for!

Property was in good location, short walk from Cairns Esplanade Lagoon, restaurants etc. Room facilities were good and secure parking in thx basement. Quick easy routes to get out of tub city for the tourist attractions.

The carpark access driveway is steep but manageable.

201 Lake Street is in a good location, a short walk along the esplanade into the Cairns CBD. The two bedroom apartment was very good, we'll equipped and comfortable. The pool was actually cool & refreshing as it gets shade, unlike some other accommodation pools which were in full sun and were like a warm bath. Have been staying here for nearly twenty years, the caretakers are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

Large apartment close to esplanade. Great aircon, appreciated washer/ dryer in room, lots of space. Great pool! Close walk to wonderful calypso bar and paper crane restaurant

It's not very close to the center, but it's just a 15 to 20-minute walk.

I loved my stay! The apartments are great and well-equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Suzie, who was very kind in welcoming us and sharing tips on what to do in Cairns. I would definitely stay here again!

It could be a bit more clean (the floor), and there was a bit bad smell from time to time in the bathroom.

Overall it was a good stay. You can walk to the marine about 20 minutes, there is a parking and the room size is good.

It was quite loud. I could clearly hear the person next door through the wall. The air-conditioning units outside were very noisy. For the most part was clean, air-conditioner wasn't clean, blew out dust. They did clean it the next day after asking. The room could definitely use a bit of a refresh and upgrade as something we're very worn and some falling apart.

Location was good, easy to get to the main areas, had secure parking, friendly staff upon check-in. Pool was refreshing after hot day.

there was no milk in the bar fridge. I didn't realise till late and had to go out to a service station. I did not get a chance to tell anyone at reception, I'm sure this would have been resolved if there was someone at the desk at the time.

very easy and early check in provided, great location, very clean and friendly staff. Across the road from a pharmacy if you need any last minute items. Easy walk to the main beach, shops and restaurants. Very good value.

The internet provider failed our last night, which was NOT the fault of 201 Lake. The rest of our stay was very good, and we enjoyed our 3 nights in Cairns.

It was easy to get to 201 Lake, and had good parking. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The lift to our floor worked well, and our room was spacious. We had a very comfortable bed, there was a table and 2 chairs on the balcony, so we sat out there to have coffee. The shower was walk in, with hand held rose, excellent water pressure and no temperature fluctuations. Plenty of hot water as well. Nice to have a small fridge, and jug to make hot drinks. The room was serviced every day. It was a short walk to the Esplanade, and foreshore, which we really enjoyed. The airport is conveniently placed, and grocery stores are a short drive by car.

We like to stay at these apartments. It is spacious and close to the Esplanade and the shops. Excellent reception/ management and they were very accommodating and helpful, thank you. We will definitely stay at 201 Lake Street again

Television reception to live TV wasn’t working, had to live stream, however access to fox was great.

It was nicely furnished with plenty of room to relax with a small balcony that gave your a nice view of the city lights.
