“This place is special! It is right in the middle of the rainforest and everything felt really thoughtful - kind of like the old days of Airbnb! The wraparound deck was beautiful, and there are so many places to sit, hang out, and take in the nature. There were lots of great touches - a basket full of insect stuff, toiletries, cooking bits, towels left out for the outdoor bath, washing supplies, record player, games, books about the birds, binoculars; the list could go on! Ray was a pleasure to communicate with. Getting in was super easy, and the location is good for getting around the Daintree along the main roads. When I am back in grey London I will try and transport myself back here!”

Fantastic, relatively isolated location at Cape Kymberley ( not Cow Bay) but we knew that because we checked it out on the map before booking! Excellent communication from the owner Rhys. “The place is in the forest - it says it all. Forget your phone and enjoy the tranquility. The place is easy to find, clear instructions provided, rooms only have beds, but it says in description - no furniture, shared facilities are clean, plenty of cooking pans and pots, but need to bring own crockery. Dining area is beautiful, power goes off at 10:30pm and it is just you and the forest. Loved it!”
