How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The Location was good. Easy Access to different nearby tourist destinations. I received all the services they mentioned on the booking, and I was happy because they welcomed us in a late arrival after 9 pm.

Unique Hotel in the heart of incredible town. Awesome view, great beds, fantastic breakfast. The best hotel staff, we were so grateful for them - than you!!!

In my opinion, breakfast could be better. For example, add an omelette. And terrible coffee.
Nice hotel, excellent view from the balcony. The staff is polite, we asked to bring us glasses of wine to our room and they responded.

Convenient location in Flachau, not far from the highway but in quiet location. Free underground parking. Nicely renovated bathroom with spacious walk in shower

The lighting, both inside hotel and outside, felt excessive and a bit over-the-top (obnoxious). Some things could be improved in the room—certain lights weren’t working, the shower was uncomfortable as you had to hold the showerhead by hand, and the sofa was not comfortable for sleeping.
The hotel is set in the beautiful town of Flachau, in a great location. We stayed for two nights in a family room for two adults and one child, which felt a bit compact, small but was fine for our short summer stay. The interior is dark, black-and-white tones with many shiny details, had a modern style—somewhat “cheap modern” in feel and more like nightclub vibes —which is very different from the traditional Austrian charm you often find in the mountains. It will not suit guests seeking a more authentic, traditional style. The breakfast was tasty, parking was convenient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming

The reception is open until 10 PM and it looked like if we arrive later, we would not get to the room. We finally managed by few minutes so it was OK.
We had a spider in the room ;-) For breakfast there was only cold options, but large selection so we did not mind.

The only negative was room was small- it was advertised as small double so size was as expected- but it had everything you could need with the addition of a lovely balcony
Location fantastic- staff went out of their way to help with ski rentals and lift passes

third bed in the room was too small and very uncomfortable, the room is too small for more than two person. the hotel is really small, it has everything we needed but it is cramped.

The whole building smelled like cigarettes, the air in the room was really stuffy, the blue lights on the balconies are distracting at night.
The location is great, Flachau is a beautiful place. No problem with parking, quick wifi, good breakfast.

Double room for 3 was quite tough but it was my decision to book it like this. Sunday morning shift for breakfast couldn´t keep up.
Good location, garage for free parking, kind, helpful and English speaking staff, room with balcony. Good breakfast.

The room was much too warm. I had 2 windows wide open all day and night, would be nice if it was possible to adjust the heating.

Nice and helpful staff, good breakfast in a comfortable restaurant, underground parking for free, with direct access to the hotel is an added value, very good location in the heart of the village on main street close to shops and restaurants. The interior design and purple illumination of hallways and common areas is quite specific and maybe not in everyone´s taste, but that has no impact on the overall feeling of a comfortable and clean place for a fair price

Thin doors between our room and room next door so we could clearly hear each other was a bit disturbing.

Breakfast poor for a ski hotel , the same every day, no warm food, and a surprising open at 7.30 , not very convenient for the ski day or leaving to airport.
The hotel is clean,convenient location, close to skilift and 2 good restaurants for dinner.

Breakfast was very basic, just bread, cheese, ham, yogurt. The whole hotel was too much, all that lights and mirrors everywhere.
