It is advertised as "close to the lake" but it is a 20 min walk. Not too bad, but still. Also it is on the 4th floor without a lift, so take care if you have difficulties climbing stairs.

Walking 4 floors up is a bit rough :)

The host was extremely nice and helpful! The toiletries were missing, so after I messaged him, he brought them to us immediately! We even got a present to comfort us for that tiny problem. Also he helped us park our baby pram in a special locker room. Thanks a lot, it was a great stay!

Surprisingly very spacious for a loft apartment, interior well planned, very well equipped and extremely clean, beds also really comfortable, we really appreciated the extra little touches- toiletries, coffee pods, herbal teas and kitchen oils and spices etc...Lovely big dining table too and great to eat, sit and watch the sunsetting through the many windows. Location great, large supermarket very nearby and within 15- 20 mins easy walk to everything -Bregenz centre, train station, bike hire, Lake and ferry, recommend day trip to Lindau via ferry, about 25 mins each way and beautiful little town. We had good communication with the host, Dominik easy access for entry to property with clear instructions, wished we had stayed longer and would definitely stay again.

- Everything you do, anywhere you move in the apartment makes a noice. It’s so squiky. We understand the house is a bit old, but going to the bathroom at night or even just getting some water to drink will wake everyone up, including using the stair to the loft. - Given the price for this apartment, one of the workings should have been marked especially for the apartment. Now we had to park out on the street apart from the first night (and pay extra for it). - Top floor without elevator. Yes it was a note in the booking info about no elevator, but given the price range it should be.

- Helpful host that really made us feel safe and welcome. Quick responses when we had questions and good info provided. - Great with the Interspar and other shops close. - Well supplied items for kitchen and such, we lacked nothing to use for our stay - Close enough to be able to visit Neuschwwainstein, Liechtenstein etc

1. The description of the place said that it was the apartment on the right, which we took to mean the door on the right as we went up the stairs. However the description actually meant the door on the right if you are standing facing the stairs. This was a little confusing at first, as we tried to use our code on the wrong unit until we realized it was the one across the hall. It would be more helpful to say that our unit was the one on the left. 2. Locking the front door to the units was a little tricky at times. We had trouble with ours and had to help our neighbours across the hall as they were heading out for the evening. I think it would have been helpful to provide instructions to turn the door handle downwards and pulling in before locking with the arrow on the keypad. 3. The dishwasher was not working but since we were not cooking it wasn’t an issue - may be an issue if a guest wants to prepare more meals. 4. The stairway going to the loft inside the unit was really nice but it may be a good idea to put a coloured piece of tape underneath the stairs near the desk/front entryway table. We bumped our heads on the stairwell a few times by accident!

The place was wonderful. It was so cozy and we loved the setup, the kitchen, the coffee machine, the dining table, everything. It was also very well appointed with toiletries, plenty of toilet paper, paper towel, etc. And the host was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Not a dislike but an observation, it is accommodation at the top of a building without a lift. Good exercise but may be too demanding for some.

The accommodation was of a very high standard and although not central it was very close it was 15 minutes walk to the centre or a 5 minute bus ride. The owner was most helpful and friendly

My family and myself have been to Austria several times the last few years to visit family. We have used different accommodations and they were all very good, however this is our new favorite. The space itself is very nice, clean and very well equipped with everything you need for any length of stay. In fact, it's about as well equipped as somebodies' home might be with Iron, Ironing board, washmachine, dishwasher, microwave and more besides the typical expected amenities, such as TV, coffee machine, etc. Communication with the owner was immediate, nice and forthcoming. Although a quiet, nice neighborhood and close to both Lake Constance and the inner city of Bregenz, all the stores you might need are right next to the house, such as a large grocery store (Interspar) and many others, all in very short walking distance. So, we will definitely look to book there first for our next visit. Markus Branz
