Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaThe only inconvenient thing for us was the spa opening times which are from 3-7pm, but that’s because we came to party, not ski, so for skiiers its probably fine 😃 I do wish rooms had a water kettle so I could make matcha or afternoon tea (cant drink coffee).
We absolutely loved the design of the hotel, it’s beautiful! The spa is amazing and the Christmas themed lobby smelling of cinnamon is just the cutest. The food is great, also vegetarian options and all their staff is incredibly friendly from cleaning ladies to reception! ❤️ They even prepared a little lovey dovey surprise for us since we just got engaged. Very thoughtful!

United StatesBreakfast was lovely, but having the option for an early quick coffee with Danish staring at 7am would be great. Lifts open at 8am and taking the bus or meeting groups you have to skip breakfast.

AustraliaTechnically ski in and ski out resort however it is still not directly in front of the skicircus for Saalbach-Hinterglemm. You can ski in and ski out but not so easy for beginner skiers. You need to walk about 15mins to get to the main ski area which can be tedious with ski boots and skis in hand! Only other negative was that the rooms are very warm, making it a bit difficult to sleep at night even with the heater off, we opted for an open window to get some cool air in!
Lovely hotel, great sauna facilities and fantastic area for skis and boots. Meals were delicious with something different available every night. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Great location for the slopes super friendly staff and very welcoming and always happy to help. Hotel was very clean with super comfortable beds. The food was probably the best we have ever had with a great menu for all We drive over to Austria every year and struggle to find accommodation with parking but the carpark was large and they even made us a pack lunch for are early departure. I can't not recommend this family run hotel enough if you like winter sports or summer sports it has everything you need they are very accommodating. We tried to speak as much of the language as we can but it wasn't an issue here. I honestly can not recommend this hotel more will definitely be returning thank you Wiesnegg.

United KingdomWe, a family of 4 with teenage children, spent 5 days at the family run Hotel Wiesenegg in February where we opted for the half board option. The facilities were great with a good choice for breakfast and a varied set menu at dinner. The hotel’s restaurant also caters for diners not staying at the hotel in the evenings. There is a high staff ratio and diners are frequently encouraged to order more drinks and to opt for the daily wine recommendations for dinner. We are not big wine drinkers so opted for beers with dinner instead. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience with the young female manager who, much to her staff’s embarrassment, issued instructions that, following the purchase of one soft drink each, our children were not to be served any tap water as a second drink. Carafes of tap water were liberally served on almost all other tables we could see so when we queried why we were made to buy still bottled water (for 7.50 Euros no less) for our kids, we were told that we were not allowed any tap water because my husband and I were only buying beer, not wine. Not only did this completely single us out and made us feel like we were only there to spend as much money as they could extract from us but it is a complete outrage given that we were already spending 1,000 Euros per night to stay at the hotel in the first place - as well as buying additional drinks, (including alcohol!!) in the evenings. The young lady has a lot to learn in terms of hospitality and has sadly lost our custom. We won’t be back.
Lovely, recently renovated hotel with great spa and good breakfast and dinner.
