Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaIt's a unique and comfortable place to stay - very different than an average hotel. I enjoyed the uniqueness of the space because they obviously thought about the details of the design. The hosts are also friendly and helpful. I was very comfortable in a single room. The mattress was firm and and I slept well each night. There was air conditioning, but I didn't need it. The bathroom is definitely different and probably isn't for everyone. But once I read the instructions and experimented with the water temperature, it worked perfectly for me. The breakfasts were a highlight for me. I decided to skip the morning sessions of a conference so I could relax and enjoy each morning I was there. The food was delicious - fresh eggs from the chickens on the premises, a selection of yummy cheeses, fresh homemade bread, fresh fruit, homemade granola, fresh grape juices, freshly brewed coffee, etc. I wish I'd had time to enjoy the outdoor terrace and other amenities. I hope to return again.

AustriaHonestly, I loved the overall concept and the story behind it. The charm lies in its simplicity and authenticity. It’s a deeply inspiring place where sustainability isn’t just a feature—it’s clearly a heartfelt mission.
The design and concept of the place are truly unique and thoughtful. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. Breakfast was simple yet absolutely delicious—just right. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming.

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay here. We booked one double room and one single, both were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delightful, with many homemade products. Daniela was such a lovely host and truly took the experience to another level.

CyprusIt is an enjoyable experience with the soul in place. Some might find it lacks convenience in facilities (just a few, usual for big hotels and not needed here), but it is functional, and hospitality characterizes this place. And breakfast is certainly worth mentioning, as it is made from fresh products that owners use in their product business. I recommend trying for people who like places with their own unique vibe.

From walking in the door and being greeted by Danielle and Herman we knew that we had made the right choice . If you want something a bit different this is the place for you. Nothing corporate here ! You have the personal touch from Daniella and Maria who went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and rwlaxed .Enjoyed the food and drink on offer most of which was home made 🙂.The room was a one off.Different ,quirky and comfy. The bed is the best I've ever slept in ! The room was obviously designed with love . No TV but that added to the atmosphere . We felt so relaxed and slept very well. 10 -15 mun walk from the main station and 5 mins walk to a main tram station which took us everywhere we needed to be.Couple of bars and lots of shops near the tram station. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave .We would definitely stay again if back in Vienna

IndiaThe hotel is easily accessible through public transport and is located at central location. The establishment has a very cosy and welcoming energy. The owners - Erwin and Daniela were very helpful and pleasent. The breakfast is not a grand bouquet of varied cuisines, but everyday a specially curated dish is served. Freshly baked rye bread, butter from the alps, home-grown honey, fruit jam, seasonal fruits, cherry tomatoes, grape juice, and a curated collection of green tea & coffee is available everyday. It was lovely to interact with other guests on the breakfast table. Daniela was exceptionally helpful in suggesting some authentic Viennese activities to make my trip even more memorable.

Czech RepublicI'm not very tall or agile, so I found the bed in my single room uncomfortable to get in and out of. But this small detail wouldn't discourage me from staying here again. :)
This is a unique place with an incredibly kind and helpful host. I really appreciated her tip about using Tram D to get around the city... it was a direct connection to the Hauptbanhoff and the Belvedere, it went approximately halfway around the ring, and was much more pleasant and scenic than taking the metro.

Very unusual property in a working vinegar factory - the rooms are spacious and comfortable and carefully designed. The shared breakfast area is cosy and welcoming. The tour of the vinegar factory is a highlight, as are the big fluffy chickens and home cooked breakfast. The hosts are committed to making your stay as enjoyable able as possible.

Very good choice of breakfast. There was a lot of character at the property. If you want something different this is the place to visit. I was not sure initially when we arrived that we were at the correct place as it did not look like a hotel at all but it ended up being a fantastic venue.
