It was a little far away from restaurants, but we knew this would be the case and bought food from the supermarket.

The views from this town are beautiful. It is very high up and orientated on the sunny side. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

We enjoyed staying in this guesthouse very much! Walter was an exceptional host, who even congratulated me with special treat for my birthday. We had a room for 4 with a big terrace and the perfect terrace with a breathtaking view to the mountains. The breakfast was made with a lot of love, we did not experience such treatment in any more premium hotels in many countries we visited. It is seen that Walter really loves his clients and job! We hope to see you soon!

We liked everything. Apartment was nice, cozy, spaceous. We liked the teracce. All we neded was there. And the breakfast was amazing! Best we ever had in our trips. A lot of vegetables, fresh fruits, they made fresh and warm scrambled eggs with bacon, also there were salmon. Big choice and healthy options. We enjoyed a lot!

Our apartment was very dated, with a 1970’s vibe and would benefit from a renovation, although it was very clean. The mattress was quite hard. Church bells start at 7:15am so no need for alarm clocks :-)

Great location, just a short drive to Lienz, on a mountainside with beautiful views. Staff was exceptionally nice, super friendly and helpful, and communication in english was no problem. Self-checkin process was very easy and convenient so you can arrive at any time. Breakfast was excellent with an option to request an a la carte omlette and a choice to eat inside the dining area or outside on the terrace with beautiful views. Highly recommend to include breakfast at time of booking as it is even more cost-effective. Great option for a short stay.

The kind host was waiting for us and gave the keys. The two bedroom apartment with a large living room and terrace viewing to the mountains was comfortable, where we enjoyed our stay very much. The building is located high on the mountain of Assling, near Lienz, from where you can make excursions or visit the city.

Absolutely fantastic! We went on a short trip. The owners very very friendly and kind, also spoke English perfectly. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The view was gorgeous. And the sauna spa section was fantastic! The hotel surpassed all of our expectations!

Everything was better or at least as good as expected.

Three types of sauna, clean and cosy room with good shower pressure and comfy beds. Friendly staff, excellent view to the surrounding mountains with sun throught the day and evening. Good location - 1h to Cortina, 10min to Lienz, 15min to Sillian. Quiet and also perfect for trail running and exploring surrounding peaks. Will comme back soon.

School Winter vacation was too short

As mentioned, the mattress was a bit soft, therefore i did sleep on the sofa as it was much better for me, but the owner said that it is plan on changing that soon. So basicly everything was great!

The accommodation was great! Apartment nice (not the newest but still amazingly comfortable). But the sauna… oh god that was the best sauna ive ever been in! The location too is great and just magical, the views.. just top! We do highly recommend it! The hosting family is really lovely too!

Excellent hotel. We had a really nice stay from the reception of the owner - even when we arrived a little later than planned —to the amazing sauna. Our apartment was bigger than expected and had a great balcony to soak in the beautiful view. All the possible needs for an apartment were there and in good condition. Breakfast was perfect. Really nice homemade jams and good coffee!
