How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There is no staff to help you when there is something wrong. There was no hot water at arrival and the water turned cold again after 2 days. The wifi kept dropping out. Breakfast was ok but the eggs were cold and it was always fighting to get a croissant. The sauna was really small and the usage was unclear (it was turned off when we tried to use it)

Verified reviewLocation was good, walking distance to the village and a short drive to Schlick 2000 ski resort.
Overall the hotel is rundown and not cared for. All the radiators in the room and the bathroom lights did not work, some areas of the room had dust/dirt/straw. We stayed for 7 days and no room service was provided, we had to ask the breakfast staff for toilet paper several times. We were told to use a paper located on the back of the door to ask for room service, but there was no such paper on the door.

Verified reviewWe've really enjoyed our time on this fabulous hotel in Fulpmes! A wonderfull place to appreciate a snowed city! The hotel was very easy to access. During our stay, we've really appreciated all the team member of the hotek who were very kind and helpful. They have welcomed very well especially Margareta who was a lovely one. She is a good listener, and welcomed us with the best manner that can exist. We will recommand this hotel without hesitation to our family and friends and we will not miss to back to this magical place.

It was not clean: - spider webs in the rooms and in the hallway - the walls in the room dirty - hair on the bedding from bed and in the bathroom There was no heat in the room at all, in November in the mountains, it was warmer in the hotel lobby than in the room. Theere is no one at the hotel to solve problems, the hotel is managed by some people who are not in the hotel, and if you have a problem and write to them, they answer very hard, as a result the first night I slept with my hiking clothes on. They said that we have a "guest card" included in the price, but there was no one at the hotel to hand it to us when we were there. Beautiful location, it's a pity that there is no one to take care of the cleanliness and the problems of the customers directly

Verified reviewTo start, the fire alarm was triggered without any apparent reason right on the first night. The firemen did not come to check what happened and the only thing we heard from someone from the hotel was that we could go back, that SEEMS that everything is ok. The room itself, what can I say... one light did not work, the shower cabin let all the water come out, the TV, despite trying auto-tuning, had no working channels and to finish the second night the heating started leaking. The reception, either I had very bad luck, or no one seemed to work there. The only people from the hotel I saw, were the members that prepared the breakfast.

Verified reviewBreakfast was awesome, the views from the balcony are spectacular. Not far from Bus Stop & Train station. Room was quite spacious for a family of 4. Surrounded by mountains, farms, greenery, farm animals, village kind of atmosphere. Could find a staff who helped for some medicine, she was very helpful. It was self checkin. It took some time to figure out how to take the keys from box. Nice provision to take drinks on our own and pay accordingly.
May be more specific instructions or pictures to do the self checkin and how to get the keys.

Verified reviewNice small hotel. The room was simple, quite big and clean, with a balcony. We were unlucky with the view, it was not interesting. Self-check-in. The staff is present only at breakfast. The breakfast was good and included in the price. Free parking. 10 minutes walk from the hotel the city center with restaurants and shops. Nice sauna, you need to wait 20 min to heat. A good option for a not high price.
There is no refrigerator or kettle in the room.
