Israelunpleasantly surprised me for a four-star hotel. My room had no bedside lamp and no outlets for charging devices, which was very inconvenient. Additionally, there were no facilities for making hot drinks, which I really missed.
hotel was very clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I especially enjoyed the spa, which was wonderful, quiet, and relaxing—a perfect place to unwind.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room, nice pool, and wellness area. A good garage is also available if you're travelling by car. Close to the downtown of Bad Ischl and the Katrin Seilbahn.

Facilities were good, room was clean and well equipped and the balcony was great too. The saunas were perfect.

United KingdomThe hotel staff did not speak much English and we don’t speak much German so communication was a bit difficult at times. Despite his there was an overwhelming desire on behalf of the staff to help us.
Modern, stylish spa hotel in a good location near the centre of Bad Ischl. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Really considerate of my wife’s need for gluten free food. Lovely grounds and lots of facilities. 1881 a la carte restaurant was always a good experience

AustriaThe sign «No syringes» on the waste bins disturbed me, I have not seen it in any other hotel in Austria. I hope it is meant for guests with diabetes, for example, who need to make insulin injections, and not for guests with other needs, so to say…
Nice big room, stylish interior, wonderful breakfast and dinner. Greta, who was serving at the dinner, was very nice and professional. Most of all I liked the late check-out option, which made my stay even more comfortable.

HungaryWe stayed for New Years Eve, the hotel was fully booked as we were informed at the front desk and possibly because of that the restaurant on 30 and 31 December was very overloaded and the serving was really slow. On the 1 Jan the dinner was much quicker as a lot of guest checked out that day but sadly because of this I can’t give a 10/10.
Our stay was nearly perfect, the rooms, the spa, the staff was helpful and kind. Usually I can point out problems on the quality of the facilities bit this time it was nearly 10/10

BelgiumThe breakfast was very extended and of superb quality. The room was spacious and very pleasant. The location was perfect to do hikes on the hills surrounding Bad Ischl (you do need a car if you want to go to the lakes), and the sauna / swimming pool afterwards was a pleasant extra.

Hong Kongneed a 15min walk to train station the opening time of sauna, gym and swimming pool is only until 9pm, can be slightly extended not used to have a sauna with men and women grouped together, hope I could enjoy the sauna if there's separate ones
Really comfy and large room with a beautiful view. The outlook of the resort is decent and beautiful. Love the facilities with sauna, gym and pool. The breakfast has a large variety of options (yummy sausages, yogurt, smoothie, cakes, nice scrambled eggs, cheeses etc.)

Czech RepublicWhat no one tells you is that in front of this hotel, someone else is building a larger, brand-new hotel... So, Villa Seilern is right next to the largest construction site in town, with dozens of workers and 3 cranes... We stayed for a week, so trust me when I say you can expect the crew to start working at 7AM each morning (incl. Saturdays) and that it gets noisy really quick (our room was closer to the construction than most other). It is quiet around the wellness area, but sleeping in your room with open windows is no-go.
Breakfasts were great and we enjoyed the wellness area, especially on rainy days. The rooms were well-maintained and cleaning service was daily. Balcony was ideal for evening wine & view! Overall good stay!
