The room can get quite hot in the summer. Although we were provided with a fan, it was still very warm. In addition, our room overlooked a cemetery, which felt uncomfortable

The breakfast was simple but good. The swimming pool was nice, and there was also a sauna. The hotel’s interior looked modern and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommended, very friendly staff. Every time you walk in, Anna is there with her delightfull smile and energy to welcome you. There is a cosy bar with a diversity of quality fresh made cocktails. Very modern, spacious rooms with everything necessary and a beautifull view from the balcony. Excellent wellness facilities, really enjoyed my stay here. Dont hesitate, there is nothing to regret.

A lot of children in the pool but it was February half term! Otherwise, nothing to complain about at all!

Breakfast was exceptional - fresh and with everything on offer. Hot meals are serviced, staff super friendly, tasty and healthy options available. The hotel is immaculate. Spa is lovely too with several saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, loungers etc. Ski storage room is clean, large and smart!

This accomodation is the most beautiful accomodation I have ever stayed at. The lodge is beautiful with high quality materials right through. From the moment we walked in we felt at home and felt we stayed somewhere tranquil and very special. The sauna and pool area are of top quality and sparky clean. It was just what we all needed after a day of skiing. The breakfasts each morning were beautiful full of all healthy and fresh foods. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our barman/waiter Yarrow was an absolute gentleman and delight. He remembered all our names and was always ready to serve us the best drinks in a warm and friendly manner. Such a great person. Anna was also helpful and friendly. She also made the best goulash we had ever eaten. We’ll definitely be back one day. Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our holiday to Wagrain so special.

No complaints everything was perfect!

Well let’s start with breakfast which was amazing, we had our favorite spot by with balcony window eating breakfast with a view of the mountains just WOW! The swimming pool was fab we spent most of our day there popping back up to our room for some food then going back down. Myself and my partner came here in our honeymoon only getting married the day before we arrived and we just felt so welcomed, all staff were so friendly!

The breakfast was great, but it didn't vary from day to day very much.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by the wonderful staff at The Matthew, and we immediately felt that we got to our home away from home. The rooms are newly designed, clean and look great. The rooms had all the comfortable amenities you would expect and more! The staff is super friendly and helpful and there is ample parking. The hotel pools and saunas are top notch and they even have a kid's' saunas (textile sauna). The outdoor area of the hotel is just huge, plenty of space to play soccer or jump the trampoline for kids to play around in a safe environment. Breakfast was very good with fresh produce and very good quality coffee. All in all the experience was amazing, top quality. The location of the hotel is also great to travel the Salzburg area. We would very much recommend this stay for families and couples alike.

Nothing really. The place was great.

We loved the location in which it was super easy to get around. there were plenty of restaurants in the area and the breakfast buffe was just excellent. The staff was so welcoming, took excellent care of us and provide such good service leaving us wanting to come back. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and well suited to host a party of 3 or 4. In addition there were 2 grocery stores just a short distance (one walking distance) that we could easily get anything we may needed. I would go back for sure.
