As it's only the fourth season of this resort, everything is new and well thought through. The pool overlooking the valley and mountains is great (seeing the goats grazing 3m away from where you swim is also very relaxing). The staff is friendly and very straightforward ("the weather is not nice today, so we open the pool earlier for our guests"). The whole atmosphere is relaxed and everyone seems to be easy. We were especially blown away by their own hiking tour guide who gave us tips about what to do and see where ("Do this and then go have a pizza here..." style) - and you get his cell, in case you have questions or don't find your way; this is a terrific service, especially for first-times like ourselves...

If I have to find something negative, the pillow was too soft for my liking and there was only one.

Beautiful location in the mountains, wonderful facilities (sauna and a heated pool, common areas), delicious broad breakfast buffet and above all super hospitable and friendly staff and owner. The studio apartment was sufficient, clean and beautifully designed. I really couldn’t recommend it enough, and would definitely come back!

All was fine we just had a ground floor apartment with not much view

Perfect hotel with friendly owners and staff. We really enjoyed our stay in beatufil and equiped apartment and especialy heated pool on the top. The layout of the rooms was superior all on right place with lot of storage space and cozy feel. Breakfast were also great and there is huge garage parking for cars up to SUV size.

The spot is amazing. The view from the outside pool is stunning (they opened the pool and the spa especially for us : thank you !). The wooden interiors are warmful and so cosy. The food is really good. And all of that with kind and smiling people to welcome you. Don't miss it if you're visiting the area !

Steep-ish descent/climb from the Gasthaus to the ski bus, can be icy. Limited food choices at night.

Amazing service location and amenities. I would just improve the breakfast that was too simple and nothing gluten-free. Staff was extraordinary and location couldn’t have been better. I went alone with 4 kids for skiing and we had an amazing time.

Location was difficult from Innsbruck during winter. Main ski resorts could not be reached on foot, only via bus.

The fact that we could not stay a bit longer... ;-) There really is no remark to find...

This is an overall 'brilliant hotel-chalet' situated in a very beautiful valley of the Vorarlberg State. We have been visiting a lot of family hotels, but this 'Berghaus Schröcken' is simply the best we have ever stayed in. Especially the people working there are so different to other hotels or resorts: they have a smile on their face and you can see that they love doing their job... It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...

super friendly. spacious “ski room” for bike and drying clothes. very comfortable bed. amazing dinner with soup and salad buffet and two options for main course. breakfast was a delight, too.

Little privacy with the neighbors who walk over "your" terrace to put their sigaret out. Maybe add some screens at the side? Amazingly smoking at the shared terrace is still allowed (anno 2023!) at 1200meters altitude with otherwise perfectly clear air. Unluckily, with the window open every hour the smoke of my neighbor would enter my groundfloor studio. Also pretty annoying was the sound of an exhaust of the building (I was pretty close to), which only went quiet after 21h and only after that I could hear the birds and brook that is so nearby. I was glad I only booked for two nights.

Decent studio, very well equiped, amazing rooftop swimmingpool, close to the hikingpaths. Very nice underground parkinggarage. Good services, nice personel.

The value for money is not there. The hotel is good but not worth what we had to pay for our stay. The breakfast is nothing special, especially considering the price. The hotel is full of kids! Don't get me wrong I love kids, but they own the hotel. There is kids running around the hotel hallways and the pool is more of a kids land than anything else. Great fun if you have kids but otherwise you can't enjoy the pool. Also the pool was not very warm. Apparently there is slope that goes to the hotel but it did not exisit during out stay (Jan 2023). Overall the hotel is fine, and if it was not for the price we might revisit it. But during our stay value and price did not meet!

The rooms where nice, you have a Kitchen and the beds where very nice. Tons of closet space and every thing is brand new. There is plenty of garadge Parkingspace and the ski / snowboard locker room was super. The Spa facilities are nice and the virew from the outdoor pool is breath taking.
