I propose you to put a mirror in the room (no-6) as there were no mirror in the room except the bathroom mirror. (The bathroom lights are not enough to get dressed)

The place is very beautiful & the surrounding is perfect. Well equipped small kitchen space in the rooms. Nicely maintained small house and a garden. Mario’s mom was so helpful.

Little close to the main road and the railway

We loved Obertauern and the sportspension is very calm. Great view of the mountains from the room and we really enjoyed seating on the porch. We loved the atmosphere.

There was no shampoo

I really recommend to stay here if you are willing to visit Hallstat. It is really proper and cute. Obertraun is just located in front of Hallstat, you can reach it easily by bus or by boat. Also, in the same Obertraun there are magnific places to visit. The place is located just next to the information center of Obertraun, the supermarket is next door and one nice bakery is on the other side of the street. The onwer was friendly and even if she couldn't speak English, we could communicatrle very well.

Good location and nearby the mini markets. Walking distance to the train station. The host Mario is very helpful and kind. My friend had an accident he drive him go to the hospital. We appreciate his kindness.

the flat was amazingly cozy and also nice and clean! maybe the photos are not the best and lead you yo a misjudgment! The view from the balcony was exceptional! also it was in a quite neighbourhood close to the lake!

I recently stayed at this place and was absolutely blown away! The location is unbeatable, perfectly situated close to everything, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The view is hands-down the best I've ever experienced.

This place is located near the railway station.. 600 m walkable. I stayed in Room No:5 it had a private bathroom and private small kitchen with all utensils. It had a beautiful view of the mountains from the window. Self check-in and self checkout no issues in it. Excellent place, value for money.

The mountain view from the room and the balcony was excellent for relaxation. Enjoyable breakfast at the balcony. The property is well maintained. Mario is a nice guy.

The rooms were quite basic. They were ok, but I think for this price they were a bit expensive. We somehow did not realise that one of the rooms had the toilet outside the room (but this might be our fault).

Great location nearby the lake, cable car and supermarket. Very friendly, helpful, responsive host and his family, spacious rooms with lot of useful amenities like coffee machine, fridge, dining room, locker boxes for luggage, free parking.

This is a great family-run place to enjoy Obertraun, Hallstatt and other parts of Salzkammergut! The balcony with the mountain view was great, especially at night when you can see the stars in the sky. The hotel is close to the railway station and it takes around 10 min. by foot to reach it. The check in instructions were clear and the getting the room keys was very easy. Mario is a very welcoming host. He provided explanations about the region and the hiking options in the area. He was available to answer my questions and helped with some other things I needed. I would like to stay here again the next time I visit Obertraun!
