Great location in the city centre and a very comfortable bed.

The whole place was run down, peeling wall paper, rotting wood in bathroom, broken fixtures. In desperate need of a refurbishment. The communal lounge was cluttered, small and very noisy due to air conditioning unit. The building had a weird smell and was unclean.

Amazing atmosphere in the common area. Very nice and helpful staff and very good location.

Bunk bednwere not comfortable with a very thin mattress and the stair to the bunk bed was unstable/hard to get up and down on because people were putting their towels on the steps. I stayed in a 9 person dormatory. There was no space to put my things. There was a smell of sewer in the halls. The bathroom was in poor condition. There was no light in the room by the beds and no locker for storing personal things in the room only four lockers that were already taken. Very late check in time.

The owner is kind and helpful. Also staff cleans the common places and rooms. It is at the center of the city.

The rooms havent got air conditioners. In the summer time, It is warm. I think there is no negative things if you consider this place is an hostel, not hotel.

I liked how the receptionists tried to explain everything, answered all questions and were friendly. Location was excellent near to the city centre and bus station.

The bathroom was public and without a locker which made me uncomfortable as a woman to use it.

The location was very central, very easy check in and check out, totally acceptable room and bed for the pice

The room was a different one than shown in the picture, metal frames instead of wood, parts of the apperature were coming down in the bathroom, not that clean around the house and part of the staff were pretty grumpy

The young lady who checked me in was super lovely and very helpful – great first impression! The location is great, right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions, and near the bus and tram stations. I stayed in both a private room and a dorm. Private Room: The private room was much more comfortable and very spacious.

Dorm: Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay in the dorm again. The room is far too small for 9 beds—there’s barely enough space for luggage. Lockers are limited (only 4 for 9 people), and most of them don’t work. Beds are okay but have no privacy curtains or individual power outlets, which makes charging devices a hassle. Private Room: The bed was average, and the furniture could use some maintenance or replacement. During summer, a fan is definitely needed, as there’s no air conditioning. Facilities: The toilets are in poor condition—there are no proper doors , and the sliding things are broken and difficult to close properly… the showers are not very user-friendly and not private. Common areas are quite basic, with broken or very worn-out.

A great social aria and nice small rooms. We stayed 2 nights but did not eat at there. It's close to the E1 line and a resonable walk from the station. The showers are nice and clean but the bathroom and showers are shared. This did, however, not cause us any pain.

    NOTHING

I found multiple bed bugs in the room, including on the wall and around the bed frame. This is not just disgusting — it’s a major health risk. I had to leave the room in the middle of the night (around 1 AM) and urgently book another hotel, spending extra money and going through a lot of stress. I contacted the property via Booking.com, but received no response whatsoever. No apology, no explanation, no compensation. I am requesting a full refund and a proper investigation into the hygiene conditions of this hostel. Judging from the other low-rated reviews, this is not an isolated case — others have reported the same issue before. Clearly, the management is not doing anything about it. I strongly advise future travelers to avoid this place until they address the bed bug infestation and take guest health seriously.

    Property response:

Dear guest We have not received a request of refund yet. Actually we just heard from your issue you might have experienced from this review the first time. We apologize for any inconvenience & will review the room certainly! Kind regards

The girl who worked in restaurant was really helpful and recommended us nearby shops.

We had to leave early. The vibe was completely off. The bathroom facilities are broken. Moldy showers. Broken locks on the toilet. The table holding the sinks is barely holding on. Dirty rooms, do not trust the pictures on booking.com - they are old and generous. No feeling of security - no lock on the door to the rooms. We left a day earlier than planned because we felt so uncomfortable being there.

Ultra central location Incredible value for money

I've seen cleaner sheets before The private toilet isn't a standalone tiny room, meaning your roommates can hear everything when you need to go in the middle of the night 😕

The host was friendly and kind. The location perfect! You are close to the center, shops and the bus stop.

The only thing that bothered me a bit was the fact that there was no internet in my room. Of course you can always go to the common area, but I didn't want to.

Cheap and in the city center.

I was supposed to sleep in 6-people room, but it had 9. It was summer, so it felt overcrowded and smelly. The pillows were sofa pillows, not bed pillows. Very difficult to sleep. The photos do not match the room I slept in. The staff was generally rude and uncommunicative. Cash only - the staff felt offended when I said I wanted to pay the city tax with card. When I told her I had only my phone and no way to withdraw, she suggested repeatedly I should ask people on the street to lend me the five euros i needed. I suggested using Paypal, and she told me to ask another guest, which I ended up doing. A pretty absurd experience.

The location was good, close to the center. Check-in was easy (we came at the desk checking hours, so I dont have any idea about self check-in)

We stayed one night with my 6 y.o. son at a bunk bedroom. The ladder was broken, no one could climb older than 10 y.o. and also the ceiling was so low that my hit his head several times. At the downstairs, the mattress was so crooped that I could hardly sleep (ups and downs on the mattress) The curtain has fallen on some parts, couldn’t shut down properly. The room temp was almost 30degrees, no A/C nor fan, I couldn’t open the windows, no net for the mosquitos. The door lock is stuck, had to lift up the whole door to be able to lock the door. I couldn’t stand more than one night, left early in the morning. It’s not even price/performance, it’s just price.
