Anna and her husband were very kind and welcoming. I traveled with my 7-year-old son. When we arrived it was raining, so renting bikes was not an option, but the hotel owner kindly drove us to the mountain lifts in his own car. Breakfasts were excellent and very filling. The room was clean, with a balcony and a view of the mountains. They also gave us recommendations for activities. We had a wonderful impression and I can highly recommend this hotel for a stay. The price for this region and the quality of services is very low.

A very friendly host who told us all about the local attractions and even asked how our trip went. The room was very cozy with a beautiful mountain view. Although the house is located near the road, it was surprisingly quiet. There was a kettle in the room along with tea and sugar. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and tidy — we felt very at home.

The only thing is that it was a bit pricey for us, but overall, we had a lovely stay.

It was a lovely location and nice room, although a bit of a walk from the train station. Anna actually drove me to the train station when I was leaving, which was so generous and nice!!!

I figured out that the staff did not really speak English, so it was a bit hard to communicate with them through messaging. Use Google Translate and they are very friendly. I recommend they get some normal pillows for the bed. Also give specific directions to the hotel. It is not marked. Was easy to get there once I knew how. It is walkable, but you need to know how far it is. Please give sugar in the room with the coffee.

Simple room with hard beds

We could see the gorgeous mountains from our room. The breakfast was excellent and the owner was very kind and hospitable!

Our room was on the second floor so we had to carry our luggage up the narrow staircase. We could easily do it when we were younger, but now we have to be extra careful.

It was very clean, comfortable room, very friendly personal was waiting our arrivals. Was great value of place and money.

Beautiful location. Picturesque and scenic. Anna was a great host, very attentive, kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Rooms had everything required and very comfortable beds. Would certainly recommend staying here.

One recommendation would be to install black out blinds or curtains to block out the morning light. Otherwise cannot fault it.

Beautiful and calm location, if you're in good condition it's an okay walking distance to Hallstatt. Close to the Obertraun train station. The room was very cute and cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. Special thanks to the employee who was extremely sweet and kind :)
