The only thing is that it was a bit pricey for us, but overall, we had a lovely stay.

A very friendly host who told us all about the local attractions and even asked how our trip went. The room was very cozy with a beautiful mountain view. Although the house is located near the road, it was surprisingly quiet. There was a kettle in the room along with tea and sugar. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and tidy — we felt very at home.

I figured out that the staff did not really speak English, so it was a bit hard to communicate with them through messaging. Use Google Translate and they are very friendly. I recommend they get some normal pillows for the bed. Also give specific directions to the hotel. It is not marked. Was easy to get there once I knew how. It is walkable, but you need to know how far it is. Please give sugar in the room with the coffee.

It was a lovely location and nice room, although a bit of a walk from the train station. Anna actually drove me to the train station when I was leaving, which was so generous and nice!!!

Our room was on the second floor so we had to carry our luggage up the narrow staircase. We could easily do it when we were younger, but now we have to be extra careful.

We could see the gorgeous mountains from our room. The breakfast was excellent and the owner was very kind and hospitable!

One recommendation would be to install black out blinds or curtains to block out the morning light. Otherwise cannot fault it.

Beautiful location. Picturesque and scenic. Anna was a great host, very attentive, kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Rooms had everything required and very comfortable beds. Would certainly recommend staying here.

Beautiful and calm location, if you're in good condition it's an okay walking distance to Hallstatt. Close to the Obertraun train station. The room was very cute and cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. Special thanks to the employee who was extremely sweet and kind :)

The host was excellent and gave us good tips of places to visit. She also lent us an umbrella for a rainy day. The location was very good as it was easy to reach Hallstatt but it's not in the middle of the tourist masses.

When we told the host we'd be checking out before breakfast time, she very kindly made sandwiches and gave us fruits to take away for our breakfast on the road! The room is also super clean and spacious and we were given a room with the mountain view!

Perfect hosts and a very nice place to stay! Ideal location, the house and our room were clean and comfy, breakfast was amazing! The most important and pleasant thing: the host lady was kind, hospitable and helped with any of our questions and requests. So grateful for all your help and care <3 If you are into hiking: a nice hiking route starts just by the house. Bonus: some nice easier hikes around Obertraun city. If you plan to visit Hallstatt, it is in ~40min walk from here. Will definitely stay here again if go to Obertraun/Hallstatt.

The hosts are so accommodating. They gave us tips and instructions too. The room is clean, the ambiance is great, linen and towels smell good too. The breakfast is delicious, we enjoyed it. The dining area looks cool and pleasing to the eyes. We enjoyed our trip. Thanks to Ana and her husband. Will book it again if ever we go back to Obertraun/ Halstatt. Will recommend the house to other friends. :)

My wife and I arrived to B&B Seeblick Krippenstein ( i n Obertraun ) in the evening after visiting Hochostervitz castle and Admont abbey(RECOMEND for everybody). It was raining, but the warm and caring welcome of the hostess Anna exceeded all expectations.We had a room with a wiew to alpine mountains with snow-capped peaks . Free parking of the car under the roof. Rich and tasty breakfast. Vielen Dank Frau Anna. Gediminas and Margarita P.S. The apatment is located only 3 or 4 km away from Hallstatt.
